This house was very nice. Nice quiet neighborhood. My husband and kids came up for Juneteenth. I will definitely rent from Ruby again. The beds were so comfortable.

An absolute nightmare

We were in town for a wedding with all of our small children. Once we arrived, we realized we never even received the check-in info e-mail with the door code, etc. We were able to text the host and get that. We walked in to a nightmare. We were met on the front porch with a wadded up rug and bag of trash. Just inside the door was a sprayer of insecticide just out in the middle of the floor. There were cleaning products just out everywhere. None of the beds were made. Bedding was all over the floor, including some not out of the washer and dryer. Crumbs all over the floor with the vaccum still plugged in. The fridge was filthy. Dirty laundry in multiple places.We arrived well after what should have been the check-in time. It was a disaster. We always choose a vrbo because we cook our meals instead of eating out. So last minute we were forced to find a hotel (which was close to impossible since it was a holiday weekend). We were so frustrated. Thankfull the host did agree to refund us our money but that can't repay all of the money we're out now by not having a kitchen, nor the huge inconvenience it is to house a large family in a hotel room.

Nice house

This property was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint that we had was a lack of hand towels for kitchen and bathrooms and no bathroom washcloths as well. But overall a good stay. Would stay there again.

Perfect location to Fort Campbell

It was beautiful, very clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Corner lot made it easy to park. Well stocked with necessities! Would definitely stay again! Ruby is a delight to work with! Would definitely stay again!

Good but there were issues

I debated whether to give this property a 3 or 4 stars. In the end, I decided on 4 stars because the location of this house was perfect for our visit to Fort Campbell/Clarksville. It was so easy to get in and out, and the neighborhood was actually really cute (minus the neighborhood dogs that barked 24/7). The house is decorated so well! The master bed was insanely comfortable. Everything was pretty clean. The price was also reasonable. Here were the cons: The dryer did not work. I had to take several loads of wet laundry to the laundromat to dry (what an inconvenience). The shower head in the hall bathroom shot water out the side, which got water all over the floor and walls. We were soaked trying to fix it, but it needed someone with a tool box and probably some replacement parts to fix it properly. Communication with the owner was a bit weak. I asked twice if I could have a list of amenities in the house (like cooking utensils, toaster, pots, pans, towels, etc) as we were coming from out of town and had an entire family to feed. I never got a response to my question, which made packing hard. Turns out, the pots/pans in the house were minimal and not very clean. Also, (and this might be picky), the house sleeps 6 but there are only 5 kitchen chairs (and no other chairs available), which means one person cannot sit to eat. I would stay here again, as long as I knew that dryer was fixed.

Ruby is a wonderful host.

The house was very clean and cozy. Ruby is a wonderful host and very quick to respond. The only negative was all the outdoor neighborhood dogs, who were all quite talkative.

Perfect for our families needs.

House was as advertised, comfortable and in a good location, neighbor was typical for military town, Ruby was very accommodating, and always answered calls/texts. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be booking again next time we visit our son at Ft. Campbell.

Did not check in code till 315 am. Had to get motel. Started texting manager at 1600,1900,2100and trued call also no response call vrbo they could not get response manager turn heat dow to 62 when it was 22 outside never rent this place

Wonderful home and very nice owners

We stayed here for a Thanksgiving family reunion. We figured a home would be way more comfortable since there's 4 kids. This home was perfect. It was very clean and well kept and the owner was so easy to get ahold of and so nice. We would definitely love to stay here again when we come to visit family.

Would stay here again

We traveled to KY to see our son who is stationed at Fort Campbell. This property was completely adequate for what we needed it for. Close enough to base, cozy and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing is we never received the wifi password but the owner did allow us to check in early after driving 17 hours from Colorado. Definitely recommend!

Just What We Needed

We rented this property due to it's proximity to Fort Campbell. We honestly just used it to sleep and shower. The master bed was very comfortable and the master bathroom was just fine. The house was clean and smelled nice. We did not use the kitchen, the livingroom, two of the bedrooms, or the side bathroom. But they all were well kept. The only issue we had was checking in. Check-in was for 4pm so we arrived at that time but no access code was released. We waited outside for about 15 minutes refreshing the app just to be sure it didn't pop up, then we messaged the owner. We did not hear back from the owner until about 4:30pm saying the cleaning lady had not even arrived yet and for us to give her at least another 45 minutes before going inside. We had to leave and come back at a later time. The access code wasn't released to us until around 5:45pm. We just wish the communication would have been better so we wouldn't have arrived so early. After that, the owner was responsive when we asked for the wifi password. So the only issue we had was check-in which is why we gave 4 stars because everything else was just what we needed to see family at Fort Campbell.
