“Lovely hotel in general with a friendly attentive staff. However, it is in a rather isolated location with a restaurant/bar that closed early for dinner - we had to rush our check in to make dinner. The hotel served no breakfast, necessitating a 10+ mile drive to Port Clinton for breakfast. While on the water there is no real access to the lake, and a small seating area across the road and on the rocky shore was oddly not permitted by the city/state to consume a glass of wine or beer. “The location was quiet and off the beaten path. The pool was enjoyable. It was in walking distance for the family fun center, grocery store, downtown restaurants.”
