Relax and take in amazing ocean views at this charming oceanfront home just steps away from beach access. Sit on the spacious deck and watch dolphins frolic in the waves and fishing boats bob in the distance as you sip your morning coffee. 1606-C U @ the Beach is ready to welcome your entire family, including up to two dogs weighing 60 lbs or less per reservation.

The open concept living area is bright and welcoming, with vaulted ceilings and a comfortable sectional with plenty of space for your crew. A large flat screen TV allows you to stream your favorite personal services or watch the big game on provided basic cable. The dining table seats six and is arranged so you can still enjoy views of the Atlantic while dining. The modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and double sinks is well stocked for all your cooking and dining needs. Prepare the catch of the day or a favorite family recipe with ease.

The master bedroom is located on this floor, featuring a king bed, ocean views, large flat screen TV and attached private bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo. An additional bedroom with a queen bed is also located on this floor. There is a half bathroom with hall access available, as well as a laundry closet with a washer and dryer.

The final two bedrooms are located upstairs and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a step-in shower. One bedroom has a queen bed and small flat screen TV. The final bedroom is furnished with two twin beds.

Outside, you’ll find both covered and uncovered deck space with a variety of outdoor furniture for relaxing and reveling in the ocean breeze. On the lower level is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a charcoal grill for your use. A private wooden walkway leads to the dunes, where the shared access path to the beach is just a few steps to the left. You’ll find the Ocean Crest Fishing Pier within easy walking distance, along with waterfront dining at Island Way Restaurant. We had an amazing time Only a 4 on the cleanliness. Some countertops had rings from cups.Some of the ceiling fan lights flicker real bad. Would make sure the LED lamps are compatible with the dimmers etc. Overall very happy with our stay. A/C was ice cold. Everything was as advertised. Would highly recommend and would book again.

Location location location !! Me, my wife and our dog thoroughly enjoyed this property! Great deck and seating overlooking the dunes and beach and the pier. Was truly a pleasure walking down the steps and right out onto the beach path to the beach! Loved it and highly recommend this property! Thank you

Very dirty with bug issues

When we arrived, I took my shoes off outside and was immediately greeted by very sandy floors. Its ok its a beach house so I thought maybe the cleaning people left some behind from their shoes no big deal. But I was very wrong. We were also met with oily fingerprints all over the fridge, the light in the shower being out and a hole where the overflow cover to the tub should be and huge water damage spots in master bath. We notified Oak Island Accomodations immediately and headed to the grocery store. While I was gone, a cleaning person came to the house and was super rude to the adult kids who were hanging out. She asked them to leave so she could clean asking what was not cleaned and the kids said the floors were very sandy. They went outside. According to the kids she was there for no more than 5 minutes in which she vacuumed the floors. When I returned the floors were still gross. I set to sweeping and mopping with the cleaning products I had to buy at the store and found several large piles of dog fur and a large pile of sand. While moving the garbage can we also found a used bandaid. Over the course of our stay I found a german roach, several large palmetto bugs and the kitchen sink area had tiny ants everywhere that we discovered while we unpacked. There is zero storage for dry goods in the house. There was no hand soap left in the home (we left the next guests our bottles). There was also a complete lack of mixing bowls or storage containers.
