Ci piacerebbe che i tuoi ricordi felici sulla spiaggia fossero fatti qui nel nostro cottage vicino al mare, The Whimsy Whale.

Il nostro cottage sull'isola è perfettamente posizionato sotto un baldacchino di magnifiche querce vive, a pochi passi dall'oceano. Annidato in una tranquilla strada di accesso alla spiaggia, centrale per tutte le migliori attrazioni, negozi e ristoranti di Oak Island; vicino al vicino Southport. I marciapiedi pubblici lungo E Oak Island Drive consentono di raggiungere facilmente a piedi o in bicicletta i luoghi preferiti.

Il nostro cottage classico è stato recentemente rinnovato e decorato allegramente. Con 1212 piedi quadrati e una pianta aperta, c'è molto spazio per rilassarsi comodamente. Ci sono due aree viventi / divertenti nella casa, entrambe collegate centralmente attraverso la cucina della cambusa. Due camere da letto offrono un numero sufficiente di posti letto per 4 persone. La camera da letto principale offre un letto matrimoniale, televisione e bagno privato in camera. La seconda camera offre due letti singoli (uno è un rotelle con un topper extra in memory foam). Due bagni completi con cabina doccia. Vengono fornite lenzuola (lenzuola, asciugamani / salviette) insieme a shampoo e sapone. Una lavatrice e asciugatrice full size è disponibile appena fuori dalla camera da letto principale.

Se decidi di cucinare durante il tuo soggiorno, la cucina ha tutto l'essenziale di cui hai bisogno: frigorifero, forno, microonde, lavastoviglie, pentole / padelle, utensili, caffettiera, stoviglie. Verrà fornito un rotolo di asciugamani di carta, insieme a detersivo per piatti e detersivo.

TV via cavo, wi-fi, altoparlante bluetooth insieme ad alcuni giochi, libri e puzzle sono disponibili per il tuo divertimento.

L'ampio cortile completamente recintato con amaca e posti a sedere all'aperto offre il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi mentre i bambini e gli animali domestici giocano in sicurezza. Un ponte sul lato del cottage si affaccia sull'oceano - un luogo ideale per gustare il caffè del mattino, gustare la cena fuori dalla griglia o guardare il tramonto mentre si ascoltano i suoni rilassanti del vicino oceano. Una doccia privata esterna è disponibile. Parcheggio carrabile disponibile.

Believe the pictures, descriptions and all the other reviews. This is one of the very best vacation rentals I have stayed at - Angela thinks of everything to keep her guests comfy. Even though the cottage would be lovely if you bring a dog, we didn't and you could not tell at all that doggies had been there - so no concern about it being pet friendly. One of the highlights we enjoyed the most was the lovely furnished deck under the oak trees - you could feel the ocean breezes!! Just a perfect welcoming cottage in a great location.

Great place, super cute, and so close to the beach as well as grocery store and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the fenced-in yard so my dog could hang out with us outside.

This was our second time in 2023 we stayed at the cottage. Owner is super easy to work with and most of all it is always so clean. Fenced in back yard is perfect for our two golden retrievers- and you can hear and see the ocean from the yard. Hope to return again in 2024.

This is a totally charming cottage in a great location! Loved having more than one living area and the decor was cute and well thought out. Everything was very clean, and house rules were reasonable. Appreciated having some backyard space for the dog. This cottage is a block from public beach access so could not be better located. Great value for the cost.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in The Whimsey Whale Cottage for a week. It was a 3 to 4 minute easy walk to the beach with no busy road to cross (done that before!) The neighborhood is so quiet and the cottage sits in such a pretty place behind the trees. I loved all the pretty colors inside and the layout was great.We would like to stay again.

The cottage was just awesome. SUPER CLEAN and all the amenities a person could need. Host is great to work with and responds quickly with answers to any questions. My two Golden Retrievers just loved the back yard - and super handy to just open the back door and let them do their business. Very quiet neighborhood and only a 2 minute walk to ocean.

Our family, and pup, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The shady, fenced yard is huge and our dog loved not having to be on a leash for potty time while on vacation. The living area was more than comfy for our family of four and we had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Super quick walk to the beach and pier.

The whimsy whale was ideal for our stay. The house is simply cozy and beautifully furnished. It is equipped with everything you could think of or need. House has large back yard that is fenced in and shaded by several large trees, our dogs loved the yard especially the shade. The backyard comes with very nice outdoor shower which makes coming in from the beach so efficient and convenient. The house is very short walk to beach (house has a beach cart as well as chairs and towels), Neighborhood is nice and quiet. We hope to return

This is the most charming and delightful cottage in the area! The newer homes are meant for renting but The Whimsy Whale was like staying at someone's home - we felt welcome even though we were the only ones there. It is decorated in a really fun and relaxing way. Every detail from the coffee being available to the cute sheets made our stay so lovely. It is truly a 2 minute walk to the beach and we could hear the waves from the porch. Thank you Angela for a perfect stay for our Thanksgiving...we hope to come back!

This property was beautiful in the pictures but beyond words upon arrival. From the welcome board that we saw as soon as we walked in to all of the provisions given to us. Needless to say the fenced in back yard was a definite thumbs up from our pooches! We did not want to leave and are looking forward to booking another vacation at the Whimsy Whale!
