3 camere da letto / 2 bagni: 1 letto king size, 1 letto queen size, 1 set di cuccette. 4 FSTV con cavo esteso, soggiorno e camera da letto principale con smart TV, Netflix disponibile, 3 lettori DVD, sistema di gioco e giochi Xbox, lettore stereo e CD, accesso wireless a Internet, romanzi di giochi da tavolo per famiglie e selezione di DVD. Cucina ben attrezzata con Keurig. Pavimenti in bambù, ripiani in granito, elettrodomestici in acciaio e nuovi ventilatori a soffitto in tutto. Veranda rinnovata 2016-17 tra cui tutte le nuove finestre con vista sull'oceano. Piattaforma rinnovata del 2016 con mobili da giardino tra cui sedie a dondolo, aliante, set da tavolo hi-top e set da pub. Doccia esterna chiusa con acqua calda e fredda. Beach view wasn't quite as photos appeared which was ok. The house has no gutters and it rain the last 3 days. There was a steady stream of water from roof onto steps(both sides). This made loading the car with numerous trips trouble some. It is a very nice house.

Go anywhere else on the island, except here

The housekeeping for this property leaves the bed sheets wrappedin plastic on the bed. Knowing this, I emailed the property manager and formally requested the beds be made via 2 separate emails. Both responses assured me that they would be made. Upon arrival after a 10 hr drive, beds were all unmade. Contacted the office, and about 2 hours later, the housekeeper arrived to make the beds. We rented bikes for the week, and the company accidently overcharged $5. He emailed me to let me know that he had left a 5 dollar bill in the bike cupholder. It had been stolen. When the housekeeper arrived to make beds, she returned the money, citing that it was someone else's fault. This home was filthy. Floors, cabinets, drawers, bathrooms, ceiling fans, and furniture all were disgusting. The refrigerator NEVER froze the ice pops I had brought for my kids. Of course, there was a laminated sign on the refrigerator that stated it did not work well. Ice cream, and other groceries I brought for the 7 day stay, all went bad. Smoke detector chirped constantly and kept us up the first 2 nights. I filed a maintainence work order and sent 2 emails--all ignored. Finally, we removed it from the ceiling. No one ever came out. Dishes and utensils all look like they came from the garbage pile at Goodwill. Sofa sinks in the middle so no one can sit comfortably. Finally, forget about a decent shower. There is no water pressure and tub does not drain.

Bathroom floors dirty the hair and spiders, rugs not clean in Bathrooms. Kitchen needs some new pots and pans. Overall a beautiful home.

May 2021 Beach Trip

The house was very nice. It was our first trip to Oak Island, NC and the beach was very wide at low tide and clean. The view from the front deck was absolutely the best feature. We spent a lot of time out there, like being oceanfront on 1st row house.

Great Spring Break at Footprints

We had a great time at Footprints. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the necessary kitchen items to enjoy some home cooked meals. The location of the house to the Public Beach Access was great and the front porch was great for coffee in the AM or an afternoon cocktail. Great visit!

Great winter getaway

Loved the decor of the house. We also loved the option of the uncovered part of the deck for the sun time and the covered corner area was great when it was windy or rainy (we had all weather during the 3 days!). Our favorite part was the fabulous sun room! If it was chilly, windy, or rainy sitting in there was as close to being outside as you could get.

Beautiful Beach

Wonderful house with a fantastic sun porch that has beautiful views of the ocean. Very close to the beach! Small issue with key code on door on arrival but communication with property management company was fast and responsive and they sent out an IT tech to fix the radio signal quickly. Lovely home and gorgeous beach just across the road!

Great rental!

Footprints in the Sand is well maintained, clean, well stocked and a fantastic location. Loved the deck and sunroom. Beds were clean and comfortable. We spent a few days here with old friends and really loved the place. The only thing I would suggest is better silverware (we only had 5 forks) and a few serving bowls. But that's just me, I cook and we eat in. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Views with First Row Rates

Footprints on the Sand is a lovely house that’s great a couple or family. The deck provides beautiful views of the ocean. We split our week vacationing and working from the beach. The Wi-Fi can handle several devices and video VOIP calls. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and bakeware if cooking is your thing. FYI, There’s a Kuerig coffee maker but no pods provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
