Welcome to Egret's Perch — a luxurious contemporary coastal marvel that blends elegant design and outdoor space together perfectly. This brand-new construction, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation home on Oak Island has the best of both worlds, breathtaking ocean and sensational marsh views. It's nestled along the marsh on the 3rd row, providing ample privacy from the backyard that boasts a magnificent private saltwater pool, multiple lounge areas, dining space under the home, and two covered balconies. All of this while being only a short stroll to beach and minutes away from the Ocean Crest Pier (about half a mile).

As you walk inside from the spacious front porch, you'll instantly feel relaxed and at home in the light and bright airy atmosphere! Each room is truly a retreat in itself, with impeccable decor inspired by the organic colors and textures of the seaside landscape. The main living space features an open floor plan, a coffered ceiling with beautiful beams, and lavish wainscoting details. There's ample seating in front of the large flatscreen TV, including a distinctive modern egg-shaped chair. A few steps away is a state-of-the-art kitchen that has stainless steel appliances, a deep stainless-steel farmhouse-style sink, and stunning countertops. The exquisite kitchen island offers plenty of room for gathering together to prepare your favorite meals and has seating for up to 4.

When it's time to enjoy a meal or snack together, the refined wood dining table offers seating for up to 8. Or, you can choose to head downstairs to dine alfresco by your own private pool. Speaking of outside, you truly won't encounter a more delightful backyard than this on the island! Cool off from the warm afternoons by taking a swim and unwind poolside under the patio umbrellas on the cozy loungers, daybed, or chair. There's even a covered outdoor living space with seating, a grill, and a spacious outdoor shower under the home.

What about the bedrooms? They're just as spectacular as the rest of the home! There are two primary bedroom suites — the first is located towards the front of the house and will simply take your breath away with a view of the ocean. The ultra-high ceilings offer an abundance of natural light into the space, where you'll find a king-size bed, large flatscreen TV, and a comfortable chair. The ensuite bathroom features an extended walk-in shower, dual vanity with plenty of cabinet space, and a walk-in closet.

The second primary suite can be found on the opposite end of the home with stunning marsh views. This exquisite bedroom boasts direct access to the back balcony, vaulted ceilings, a king-size bed, large flatscreen TV, a desk, and multiple chairs. Plus, its sizable ensuite bathroom features an extended walk-in shower and dual vanity.

Last but not least, the other two bedrooms are located off of the main hallway! One offers a luxurious queen-size bed, flatscreen TV, and chair — while the other is great for the younger travelers in your group with two sets of bunk beds and a flatscreen TV. These bedrooms share a sleek bathroom that has a tub/shower combination with a double hotel-style curtain bar and a gorgeous vanity. For additional sleeping space, you'll find a pull-out trundle sofa in the living room.

Perfect vacation

This house was exactly what we were looking for in a beach house. Great pool, spacious well appointed, comfortable living spaces, a fantastic screened in porch overlooking the pool, the list goes on and on! Would love to rent this house again someday.
