Amazing vistas on the waterway!This beautiful 3 bedroom 2.5 bath uniquely secluded waterway home offers a special getaway spot! You and your loved ones will be able to experience this serene and private hidden gem on Oak Island. The goldfish pond with waterfall will add to an already relaxing atmosphere. The breathtaking views of the Elizabeth River connected to the Intracoastal Waterway will leave you saying ' one more day'! You can watch the sunrise over the marsh while relaxing in bed. Enjoy a romantic dinner on the deck overlooking the water and shaded by the 'old soul' live oak tree for which the island gets its name.
This comfortable home seamlessly matches the charm of the old with the modern conveniences of the new with custom details throughout this owner renovated and loved sanctuary. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need to go 'gourmet' if desired. 2 bedroom balconies offer lovely views of the mature live oaks and river. Bamboo flooring, spiral staircase, a retractable awning and seating for 6 on the deck and just a few features of this remarkable place. Amenities include internet, smart TV's, a pack/n/play crib, outdoor shower, beach chairs, umbrellas, body boards, kites, bocci balls, fishing equipment, canoe and 6 bicycles for a quick 3 block ride to the beach! Wonderful place to relax and enjoy all that the waterway has to offer - peacefulness, coastal birds, and a beautiful view. It is in within walking distance to a small, community dock where you can look for more birds, find crabs, and enjoy more of the view. The home is clean and has plenty of space plus a well equipped kitchen. The back deck is lovely and provides shade when needed as well. It is very convenient to the beach and you can even walk to local seafood market, restaurant/bars, and more. Great spot!

We enjoyed our long weekend celebrating my husband’s birthday. The house was perfect for us from the views of the marsh, location to the boat landing (we brought our jet ski for the intracoastal waterway), and fresh seafood galore!! We couldn’t ask for anything more! The characteristics of the home made it so comfy and inviting, however the nostalgia of the vinyl records were probably our favorite part of our first night. Thank you for a memorable weekend- we will definitely be back for “One More Day!”

The name of the property says it all, you’ll be wanting to stay on vacation for just one more day! The house was fantastic! One of the best VRBOs we’ve used. Fully furnished and then some! The owners have poured a lot of love into the place and it shows. My mother loved the record player and vinyl and played them non stop! Will definitely try to book again on our next OKI stay if it’s available.
