Enveloped in a sea of green from the surrounding trees and just a short walk down the street from the more traditional sea of blue, Tipsy Turtle waits to welcome your family on their next beach vacation, including up to two dogs per stay. Thoughtfully decorated and arranged, you’ll immediately relax when you enter this inviting space.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a comfortable central living room with a large flatscreen TV where you can gather to enjoy a favorite movie. A second entrance into a spacious utility and laundry room makes coming off the beach with sandy swimsuits a breeze, and the full bath with step-in shower just off this room adds to the convenience.

Around the corner, you’ll find the primary bedroom, complete with a queen bed, flat screen TV and even an electric fireplace for added warmth- or romance! Across the living room, a hall connects the other two bedrooms. The second bath, complete with another step-in shower, is located between these two spaces. Both of these bedrooms also feature their own TV along with ceiling fans for your comfort. One room has a traditional queen bed, and the other has a queen daybed along with a queen trundle.

It's impossible to miss the unique fish staircase that allows access to the upper loft. Upstairs, you’ll find an open concept living area including a second living room, a dining area and a cheerful kitchen. Here the adults can enjoy the big game on an additional TV while the little ones watch cartoons downstairs, still within earshot. The sturdy main dining table seats eight, with space for another two at the intimate window table. Playful fish scale tile, gleaming wood counters and a deep farmhouse sink with gingham curtains beneath create an inspiring kitchen space with everything you need to prepare traditional recipes or the catch of the day. A half bath is available on this level for your convenience.

Walk through the French doors, where the elevated deck provides furniture for dining or relaxing, as well as an electric grill for outdoor cooking. The whispering oak leaves help to shade the space for much of the day, but an umbrella is provided as well. On the lower level, in the backyard, you’ll find an additional small outdoor table for two- the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet morning coffee while listening to the birds singing overhead.

Located in the Yaupon Beach area on a quiet neighborhood street, this beautiful home sports an ideal location for exploring the island. From your driveway, less than a five-minute walk south down the road will take you to the nearest beach access, as well as several dining options and the Oak Island Fishing Pier. You can also walk to a number of area shops, restaurants and nightlife to the north. Plus, you’re close to the Barbee Bridge for day trips to historic Southport or the many attractions in Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. Whether your ideal beach vacation involves exploring local eateries after a day full of shopping or simply lying on the sand and listening to the waves crash, Tipsy Turtle is the perfect home port for your crew’s adventure!

The towels need to be softened! Pest control should not spray out then guest are there. The door needs to lock.
