When we arrived the first evening the apartment had a strong smoke smell and we alerted the host who offered to have someone come by the next day to freshen. We declined and tried to air it out by opening windows and lighting a candle but our clothes/bags smelled like smoke when we got home and everything went into the laundry immediately. “The property is mediocre. The floors were pretty dirty. The grounds had trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv didn't work. I was thankful to only be there one day. Great if you are a smoker with pets to stay for a night but that's about it. No coffee maker in the room but there was a dunks nearby. Definitely needs to be cleaned up. I never even saw any staff but the one lady at the desk. I definitely could have gotten more for the price. ”

The neighborhood was a quiet working-class neighborhood without a lot of traffic and the location was convenient to everything in Norwich. While it’s not handicapped accessible (as in wheelchair access), there aren’t a lot of steps so I think an older person would be able to go in and out with help.
