Cottage a Oakford

“Accommodation excellent, hosts amazing. Not much in the village, pub closed during week, nearest shop 10 minute drive.Expected the garden to be at back of property, which it wasn't.. It was shared with owners who live next door, which meant you had to leave the property to access it.Note for people with dogs.Owners ask that pets are not left in the property unattended. Might be an issue for some people if they want to pop to pub for a meal or drink without pets.Overall we had a lovely time...

“We've stayed in a lot of dog friendly cottages, but I think this was the best we've had. Lovely cottage, with everything you need. Great location too. Parking was easy and very friendly neighbours too.Be prepared for narrow lanes, but that goes for most of rural Wales :)”

Hosts John and Steph are so welcoming and John is like an encyclopedia of local knowledge, from best chippies, restaurants to best beaches and local markets. Our 15 yr old dog absolutely loved it and it's freedom. We will definitely be going back again.”
