Hotel con piscina a Oakfordbridge

“I had booked a 4 night stay for some r&r choosing to stay in the manor house. My 1st day there was a wedding being held at the Manor House, some facilities not available or restricted. I had not been informed of this event, my day of r&r sadly not forthcoming. An outdoor pool was not available, in the middle of a heatwave, apparently our of season in July. The rooms I was able to enter in the manor house are tired and need a refresh, my room had black mould in the bathroom, a ceiling extractor...

“Staying here for the graduation of my daughter, this is an ideal location. Just a slight negative: As there is no car park on site, it was a bit of a hassle to drop off our stuff and check in. Then there was the trek to get to our room. Regrettably, no lifts, so dripping in sweat when we got to our room. Once, everything was in the room, it was a case of driving our car to one of the designated car parks, and then walking back(took circa 15-18minutes). This is really the only very slight...

“Hotel is fine. Breakfast was fine. Room had no working air-conditioning but after making a call we were upgraded to another room where the air-conditioning was working so everything was fine.”

“Be sure to talk to the staff as they are extremely helpful and will try to understand what you want and need. Make use of the pool and the facilities and do roam around the beautiful garden. Hotel it is in an excellent spot close to the beach and a wonderful hike in the hills and the classical garden nearby.”

“Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. ”
