Il Kdwood Cottage dista solo 19 km dal cancello sud del Yosemite National Park e 6,4 km dal famoso Bass Lake. Perfetto per chi vuole sfuggire al trambusto della città o semplicemente fermarsi sulla strada per Yosemite. Essere situato su Lewis Creek a quota 3000 'offre estati fresche e inverni miti. Very tight quarters and a bit dusty; however the hosts were receptive to feedback. If you're bringing a pet, know that there is nowhere to walk them out to pee other than the driveway as it's on a street in which people speed down. The entrance to Yosemite is only 40 minutes so that is great! The Mexican place on the day back is good.

Great cozy cottage

Exactly as described. This cottage is great for anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay outside Yosemite. Kadi has great communication and offered to allow us to check in early! The nights were quiet. I will definitely want to come back for another stay.

Perfection

Such a great stay. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay feel like we were welcome. Upon arrival we had lit candles, spa music, ambiance fireplace, fresh flowers, fresh cookies and a welcome note! Everything was as advertised and we will definitely come to stay again when visiting nearby Yosemite.

Core memories - AMAZING creej

The cottage is exactly as described and photographed. Very clean and comfortable. The little patio was perfect to chill on and BBQ. Easy 30-ish min drive to the South Entrance of the Park.But the best part is the creek! Pictures don’t do it justice. Right in the backyard and lots of smooth, flat boulders to sunbathe on, but uniquely accommodating to hang out IN. There were several shallow and calm pools with sandy bottoms which was perfect for our 2 year old boxer to learn how to swim. The temperature was perfectly cool, and the water was so fresh. We had the best weekend! We will be back

Perfect

Loved this little cottage its was perfect for my husband and I and our little pup Zoey. There is everything you need to feel special and comfortable. The host was alway just a text away. Location is nice to take morning and evening walks. The drive to Yosemite is beautiful. We will definitely revisits again.

Cottage was beautiful, with everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable! A great place to stay while we explored Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Felt like we were out in the forest, yet only a few minutes from the town of Oakhurst. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

Perfect home away from home

We wanted something out of the city/town yet close enough to all of the area attractions and this was the perfect spot with all of the amenities that you might need. The creek beside the cabin was an amazingly, awesome and beautiful plus. We highly recommend this cabin for your vacation getaway!

Cottage close to the Park

The cottage was wonderful. We loved the outside area since we love to grill and have a glass of wine. So close to the park. Would recommend to my friends and family. Would rate it a 10!

Simply delightful!

We absolutely loved this darling cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. Host does an amazing job getting everything ready. We were greeted with flowers and delicious homemade cookies. We had to change the number of nights we visited and Katy and Luana were wonderful to deal with. It’s a gorgeous ride to Yosemite Valley from here but is a distance so be aware when planning.

Perfect Yosemite Stay

This was the perfect stay for our short break in Yosemite. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The outside space was a bonus as we had great weather to use it. Our hosts were so accommodating and gave great information and support as well as some amazing freshly baked cookies. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

Lovely little cottage in gorgeous setting - Great Hosts!

Wonderful welcome with fresh flowers, homemade cookies, sparkling clean interior, and an amazing view. Great layout with a wall separating the sleeping area from the kitchen and living space - perfect for me, a night owl, who didn't want to disturb my husband, an early bird. :)It is quiet, serene, private, and within close proximity to Oakhurst if you need to pick up groceries, etc. I have to say, I was amazed at how well stocked the house was. I always bring my own backup cleaning supplies, kitchen essentials, backup towels and pillows, etc. I could have saved a lot of time packing!

Yosemite spring break

Easily within striking distance of Yosemite national Park. We biked the valley floor, climbed to the tops of gigantic waterfalls and retreated to Oakhurst to relax and recharge. Cute little cabin, everything we needed was there. In a quiet neighborhood, we never locked the doors and slept with the door by the bed open one night.

Cozy cottage perfection

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our amazing, weeklong stay here! The cottage was just as we had hoped, cozy and comfortable, and convenient to all types activities, with hummingbirds as ‘co-guests’. And with the river running right behind, it could not have been more scenic and peaceful. So many memories from hiking at Yosemite, visiting Bass Lake, and exploring the Madera wine trail. Thanks to our hosts Kadi and her dogs Parker and Lindsay!!!

This was a gem of a cottage, perfect for 1 or 2 people. Had everything needed for cooking, well stocked with towels, linens, etc. bonus was clawfoot tub, electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth and bedding was soft snd comfy. Excellent service and communication prior and after stay. Little longer of drive to Yosemite entrance than anticipated (1-2 hrs) but was beautiful journey nonetheless. Will stay again without question.

Amazing Cottage

I cannot say enough about how perfect this little cottage was. The pictures do not do it justice. The hosts went above and beyond with all the little details. They were very responsive and kind. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The grounds were so beautiful. We loved the swing by the creek. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite. We could not give a higher recommendation to this place or the hosts!We would give more stars if we could. Cannot wait to go back one day!!

A Perfect Getaway Close to Yosemite National Park

We had a great stay at the charming and cozy cottage during our weekend getaway trip in February. With a very serene atmosphere, the place is truly made with love and thoughtful touches throughout, it made us feel home away from home. Locked only 30-20 minutes drive from the Yosemite park South entrance. Overall, we had a fantastic time and hope to return in the future!

Oakhurst Cottage

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations, and looked even better in person than online! The location was perfect, very close to the south entrance of Yosemite, and just outside of downtown Oakhurst. The cabin was in pristine condition, and we loved the cupcakes and ambiance when we walked in :). The creek nearby was very scenic as well. Our hosts were very accommodating and communicative. We definitely would recommend a stay here!

Perfect little cottage

We had an amazing time at our stay. It was a perfect little cabin/cottage for 2 people. We specially loved the river out back and the sweet lady that met one of the days that happen to be the co-owner i think. She was very hospitable and even welcomed us with a plate of homemade cookies and ccandy. Thank you so much for a wondsrful experience on our first time to yosemite.
