Home was charming but not clean

The rooms were very small and an air conditioning unit took up most of that space in one room and you could open the window. The hot tub is made to look like it’s private, it is not. It is directly in front of the walking path. The bathroom upstairs was not clean and there was a layer of dust in the living room. The outside did not have enough lights to see going up the stairs and was covered in cobwebs. At the end of the stay we only had one bag of trash. When wr went to dispose of the trash an animal had gotten into the trashcans and pulled out the previous tenants trash. We cleaned up as much as we could, but without gloves it was very unsanitary. I let the management company know so that the next tenant didn’t have the same issue and any other animals didn’t get into it and get sick. The management company kept insisting we had to clean it up, even after we explained it wasn’t our trash and it was half eaten food from someone else. It took multiple text messages to explain that it wasn’t our trash and it was completely unsanitary for us to clean it up. They finally stated that someone could come assist us. However, the home is located near a wonderful coffee shop and pizzeria.

The location was hard to beat, we were close to everything we wanted to do. Would not recommend it for 8 people though, we stayed with 6 adults and 2 children and it felt very cramped.

Great townhome with Lake View and Hot Tub

We had a lovely weekend stay at this property, which has a view of the lake and forest, a full kitchen, and hot tub to enjoy. It was very clean on arrival. We would definitely stay again!

Location was great. View was beautiful. Unfortunately, house was not cleaned well and not well maintained. Responsiveness of maintenance company was poor. Most of our issues were either addressed late or not at all.

Nice place and affordable on fees

Property was nice. Hot tub was amazing. Didn't find the keys at first for the hot tub. Called the property management company and they never followed up but we ended up finding them on the fridge. When we arrived the emails and texts didn't list the door access so we had to call about that. Otherwise very nice and more affordable on fees than other places I looked at. There were dishes left in the dishwasher that weren't precleaned properly but we only stayed for 2 nights so I just hand washed our dishes. Front door blinds were damaged but no big deal as long as I don't get charged. I would stay again ... was a decent place and had a nice view of the lake :)

Very accommodating

Everything was clean and a very nice location, close to everything. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of clean towels for everyone. The only suggestion I have is to maybe add some cereal bowls since there was none at all. But overall a great place

This place sleeps 8 but is VERY small. Limited porch/outdoor space. Obstructed view of the lake. Hard to control the indoor climate. It is very close to everything so great location. We had 5 people but it says sleeps 8! Beds are small.

Great place for the money

We had a great time in this rental. Very clean. The spiral staircase is a little dangerous, especially if you are older. The kitchen is old, but functional. I would stay here again. This space would be very tight for a busy family.

Right for the price

We go to deep creek to game. We hope for snow, but no snow. There were very limited supplies provided such as garbage bags and paper towels. If people are in the living room, the downstairs absorbs all that sound. The furniture was not comfortable. But for the price we got a small place with enough room. It worked.

Clean and comfy

This was perfect for our weekend stay. Close and convenient to everything at Deep Creek. Very clean and comfortable. There were a bunch of little things that were broken like window latches, paper towel holder, towel racks, but a great place!

When we first arrived, I had to call maintenance, as our TV; AC unit, and WiFi would not work. We noticed behind the couch there was a paper plate (that was charred) and the face plate was off. When I called the property manager, they did know about it, and they sent in Maintenance about 2 hours later. The outside light did not work in one exit, and my husband fell down the steps. They were very slick.

Skiing at wisp

Smoke alarm beeped on main floor last two nights. We had six inches of snow and no way to clear two flights of steps outside and had one person slip and fall, no injury though. Base board heater was off downstairs and thought it was controlled by wall thermostat upstairs, first night was freezing downstairs to sleep. Found control on baseboard second day to turn on heat downstairs. View of lake and closeness to wisp ski resort was nice.
