Five Oaks by-the-Sea, la perfetta fuga mare Maritime.

Bella casa al mare 'Lunenburg Bump', a pochi minuti dalla città di Mahone Bay. Five Oaks 10 posti letto comodamente quindi è perfetto per riunioni di famiglia. La casa è di 25 anni giovane e costruito per replicare casa tradizionale del 1700 Cape con Lunenburg Bump. La maggior parte delle camere hanno una splendida vista sulla baia. Un grande ponte, affacciata sul mare, rende la conversazione all'aperto e pasti una brezza. La struttura si affaccia a 300 metri di litorale con vista maestosa Mahone Bay. Camminare lungo Hanson e Hirtles Grotte in una delle strade cove distintivi e tranquille della zona. I bambini ameranno esplorare la costa rocciosa con la bassa marea.

Ci sono cinque camere da letto, due al piano principale e tre al secondo piano, tra cui due suite famiglia legata. Un bel soggiorno con camino si affaccia sulla baia. Una camera familiare separato, anche con un caminetto funzionante, contiene tutta la tecnologia famiglie hanno bisogno, tra cui un grande "giocatore dello schermo TV e lettore DVD piatto da 42. Una bella belvedere Lunenburg Bump salottino al secondo piano è il luogo ideale per leggere o parlare davanti a un caffè del mattino. La casa è bella pavimenti di pino ampia bordo tutto.

Una cucina e sala da pranzo, rinnovato di recente, completa di nuovi elettrodomestici e tutti i comfort di casa è stata completata nel 2012. La casa è Wi-Fi dotato. Pranzo all'aperto è perfetta sul nuovo ponte anteriore della casa. C'è anche un nuovo gas barbecue. I servizi includono anche due bagni (uno di tre pezzi e un quattro pezzo).

Abbiamo arredato Five Oaks con una combinazione di vecchi e nuovi - nuovi letti e divani accompagnati da incantevoli pezzi d'antiquariato provenienti dalla zona. Lenzuola di cotone egiziano e soffici asciugamani bianchi rendono il luogo sentire come a casa.

Negozi locali portano meravigliose specialità locali come polpette e involtini di aragosta, focaccine mirtillo e muffin lampone caldi. Si può mangiare o assaggiare alcuni dei numerosi ristoranti terrificante a Mahone Bay, Lunenburg o Chester. Tutte e tre le città sono solo a breve distanza.

Grandi spiagge locali includono Hirtles, Crescente, Green Bay e Rissers. Guidare le biciclette lungo le numerose strade sinuose che abbracciano il mare!

Had a great week at the Oakland house. There were six of us and the house suited us very well. It was very hot but being in the trees helped keep the house cool. The kitchen has been updated and was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the unique lighting fixtures! Deer came by every evening which was a real treat, especially for the little ones. The area is nice and quiet and the view from the patio is beautiful. We were a little disappointed that the hot tub that was included in the listing isn’t there as the kids would have loved it. There are two kayaks to use but we couldn’t see a way to get them in the water in front of the property so didn’t use them. There are a few nice walking trails in the area.

This is a great place to stay if you need to work but also play. It has high-speed internet for those grinding days, set in a modern five-bedroom home. Two bathrooms mean little to no waiting time. The kitchen has lots of cooking and baking containers and trays if you want to get creative, but there are also several great restaurants nearby, like Oh My Cod! Halifax is also only an hour away, where you can visit the Citadel, the Public Gardens, and more, and have a great supper. The house was clean and bright. Having the air conditioners came in handy when a heat wave passed through, but otherwise, the windows were open to catch the cool night's breeze. You can pack light as there is a washer and dryer in the basement. Take time to enjoy a paddle in the bay in one of the two kayaks on the property. The lawns and gardens are well maintained and the view from the porch is outstanding!

We had a family gathering at this beautiful home! The teens loved the cove! We brought our paddle boards from home and they spent hours. Hanging out of the deck snacking, having a glass of wine and catching up with family was lovely!

From the minute we arrived we were enchanted. This was the perfect choice for our family of five adults and one child. It had everything we needed and more than we expected. Charming decor and plenty of space for everyone. The deck was a favorite gathering spot with its stunnig view of Mahone Bay. The bedrooms were charming, the kitchen had absolutely everything you could need, and the living areas were cozy and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.

A fantastic home with lots of room for the family to spread out and relax. Nice view from the front porch out to Mahone Bay and 2 kayaks with life jackets to go and explore. Nicely appointed kitchen and lots of space to eat inside and out but great restaurants nearby if you want to go out and there’s an ice cream shop only an easy and scenic 20 minute walk away!

Well appointed home on Mahone Bay across the water from the town. Lots of room for everyone, close to hiking trail and very short drive into town for restaurants, shopping. Small herd of deer roaming nearby was nice surprise too.

Our family had a wonderful time at this home. There was ample room for us to gather together, inside and outside. The bedrooms were charming, and the kitchen was stocked with most of things that were needed for our stay. The view from the patio was lovely and the location of the home was perfect for visiting Lunenburg County.

Thank you for sharing this gem with us! We enjoyed it tremendously, and appreciated all the natural beauty around the home. It was difficult for my parents to navigate getting in and out of the property without a handrail for support and due to their arthritic joints, the suffered a great deal without A/C, so I might suggest amending the listing to reflect the placement of the window air conditioners For the younger gang, it was ideal - my 21 yr old was out every low tide discovering hermit crabs, crabs, and more! I hope that Fiona didn't hit you too hard! Thanks again for a beautiful spot.

We enjoyed our stay on peaceful Mahone Bay. This home is magnificently appointed, beautiful decor, excellent layout, and plenty of space to spread out and work or rest. The host provided exceptionally detailed instruction about the house, and surrounding sights. We highly recommend this property.

The house was very charming,! The kitchen was lovely to cook in, the view was gorgeous and the two sitting rooms were very relaxing. It hosted my family of seven very comfortably. My only complaints were that the bathrooms could use some updating and the house could use a good dusting. But other than that the kitchen, floors and rooms were clean. The location was perfect and I loved all the deer the wandered across the property in the evenings. Great vacation!

Just outside Mahone Bay and only minutes from Lunenberg this was a great place for our family of 10. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the house was great. James was quick to respond to queries and looked after a couple of little issues very promptly. Highly recommend.

Very charming house on a very large property and perfect for self-isolation (lots of room to walk around and get outside while keeping away from neighbours). The beds were very comfortable, ample supplies in the kitchen for a large party if needed, and a very quiet area with a lovely view of the bay. The owner was extremely accommodating and the check in check out process was quite easy. Would have appreciated an umbrella on the outside deck which can get very hot during the day but otherwise was quite satisfied overall with the house. Thank you James.

Our family stayed at this property in August 2019. The location was great as it was close to town but far enough away for quiet privacy. There is nice separate areas for conversations if you have a big group. Some of the side chairs need to be replaced with more comfortable pieces (everyone commented on this). The kitchen is well set up. We cooked a few meals and also ate some out in Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Chester. There needs to be updating for some of the mattresses . My husband and I stayed in the main room downstairs and it was comfortable. The rest of the family said the mattresses were not comfortable. The outside patio area has nice views but some comfy furniture would be nice to replace the old pieces . James was prompt to answer any of my questions. The house is in a lovely area and I would enjoy staying again. It was a special trip to celebrate our Dad’s 93 birthday!

We absolutely loved staying at 5 Oaks and were sad to leave after a week! It came equipped with everything we needed including a BBQ, kitchen utensils, wifi and tv. We spent a lot of time out on the deck looking out over the water. There was lots of room for our party of 9 and never felt like we were in each other’s way. There are hiking/ biking trails just up the road. Mahone Bay has fabulous shops and restaurants - a charming village. Great location for day trips to many great sites. James was great to work with and was very responsive to calls and inquiries.
