  • Un appartamento in uno storico 1924 casa situata nelle splendide colline di Berkeley. L'appartamento è stato recentemente ristrutturato e dispone di una cucina completa, completamente attrezzata con ripiani in granito, forno a microonde, fornelli, frigorifero e lavastoviglie. La camera ha vista sulla baia, con un letto matrimoniale e comò built-in e ripostiglio. Il soggiorno / sala da pranzo con vista mozzafiato sulla baia, un grande ponte, televisione e camino a gas. Include lavatrice / asciugatrice. Un divano letto nel soggiorno accoglie gli ospiti aggiuntivi. È anche possibile aprire una camera da letto per i visitatori occasionali. Via cavo, WiFi e tutte le utenze incluse. Un bagno è adiacente alla cucina e per l'uso esclusivo degli ospiti. Il secondo bagno è facilmente raggiungibile da casa ed è a volte utilizzato dai proprietari come è adiacente alla lavanderia.

    Apartment si trova a 15 minuti a piedi dal ghetto gourmet di Berkeley (sede di Chez Panisse, Cheese Board e shopping), a 5 isolati dalla University of California e il Seminario Teologico e 25 minuti a piedi dal centro di Berkeley. 2 isolati dal bus per il centro BART. Location was great, with beautiful views over the bay and walking distance from city, parks, shops. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and cooking implements -- we did a lot of cooking. Host was friendly and easy to reach. We loved our stay.

This is the coolest and coziest place to stay in Berkeley. The apartment is so comfortable, with a great lanai and gardens below. The owners were very helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked to make meals. The house is up in the hills so it has great views and very close to campus. The house is older but completely renovated to combine the modern. Excellent stay!!

The views from the deck are absolutely stunning! A very convenient location to restaurants and walking distance to the UCA. The hosts are very friendly and we had everything we need.

Contemplative Stay in the Berkeley Hills

Quiet, welcoming apartment with lots of privacy. Well appointed kitchen, nice bathroom, bedroom, sitting room AND a private covered deck. The view during the day and at night were exquisite. Very friendly owners who have thought of everything to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable!

Beautiful Berkeley

Lovely place to stay in a charming and historic home within walking distance of the CAL campus and the historic Rose Walk. The view of San Francisco is incredible, and the deck is spectacular. The owners are very kind and accommodating.

Beautiful historic house. Lovely porch and views downhill to the Bay. Did not cook but kitchen area looked clean and adequate. Bed was very comfortable. Living area very nice and tasteful. Downtown retail is walkable if you don’t mind the steep hill back up to the apartment.

Weekend stay at Berkeley

We were visiting Berkeley to meet our son. The apartment was great for two of us with lovely views of the bay. It had all the facilities we needed. It is about half an hour walk to downtown which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped. Our stay was very comfortable.

The perfect place

I think this was our fourth stay in the appointment at La Loma Avenue. It is always a pleasure to stay with Susan and Greg. Their hospitality and friendlyness really makes it a great place to stay. You can walk to the university, to great shopping and cafes (eg Cheese Board!). And the view to the Bay is amazing! I hope that we will get the opportunity to return in the future.

Great Location, Beautiful Apartment

Everything was great! I met the host and her dog on the first night, and they were both really nice : ) I live in Berkeley, and I booked this place for a few days while the floors in my home were being refinished. The location is excellent; it's situated in the Berkeley Hills, but not too far up, so you'll be close to the university, downtown, Chez Panisse, and more, all while enjoying beautiful views of San Francisco.

The check-in process confusion was our fault by arriving after dark. The directions were clear to the house, but getting through the outside gate was challenging for us. Arriving before dark would be our recommendation. Susan and Greg were welcoming and responsive to any questions or requests. The apartment is ideal for 2 people and tastefully furnished. The view of the bay from the deck is great. We were there 2.5 weeks getting a nearby house cleaned out and ready for sale so we did not avail ourselves of all the places to go as tourists. We cooked most of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen, but as past residents of the area we can attest to the fact that the quality and diversity of nearby restaurants is exceptional.

Well appointed, super convenient and safe. The deck was amazing and provided just the spot for after a long day of classes. Susie was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Berkeley Hills

This is one of the most beautiful settings one could imagine. Easy access to the Greek Theater, UCB, restaurant ghetto, and best of all, Tilden Park. That blew me away most. I just couldn’t pull myself away from the view.

A fantastic find!

The apartment was great, in a very convenient location with excellent parking, near great restaurants with beautiful parks in walking distance. It was private, with beautiful views and lovely gardens. I stayed for 7 weeks and really enjoyed it. The owner was lovely, super helpful and very inclusive and welcoming. Definitely a find!!

We had a great view over the East Bay from the living room when it didn't rain. When VRBO did not send us directions and access information in a timely manner, the host communicated with us immediately.

A fantastic view

This property worked well for my wife and I as we came out to visit our daughter. First time in the area and your mountaineering driving experience is put to the test. Berkeley Hills has some nice homes and this is one of them. We really enjoyed the back deck and its view. We loved the gardens and being surrounded by trees. The home offered all we needed as we were out and about for the day. We experienced unseasonably warm temperatures and the only downside was that it was quite hot inside without air conditioning. First world problems that we could live with! Make sure to visit the Rose Park and walk the gardens that are on this property. Can’t go wrong with this property.
