Kick off your next vacation with us here at Swimming Bear Lodge! Located off Paradise Heights, the home has lake access as well as close proximity to all local attractions. When first walking in you are welcomed by an open concept living room, with floor to wall wood finishing's and wall of windows allowing the home to be flooded with natural light creating an extra sense of warmth and comfort. Wake up feeling rejuvenated and take advantage of the ample outdoor seating on the back deck to soak in the sunrise! Go for a brisk morning walk throughout the quiet neighborhood, then head out for a fun filled day! In the Winter months make sure to pack up your snow gear for a day spent out on the slopes where there are trails for all levels of skiing or snowboarding. Looking for something to do indoors? Head over to Deep Creek Fun Zone for an afternoon of pizza, laser tag, and arcade games. There is also plenty to do in the summer! Pack your swimsuit, rent a boat and spend the day cruising across the lake; where after working up an appetite, dock the boat at one of the many restaurants along the lake! The fun doesn’t end there. Be sure to explore the State Park trails nearby or book an appointment to go horse back riding through the mountains. After an action-packed day head back to the house for an evening of relaxation. Fire up the gas grill and start a fresh, hot BBQ dinner or soak your muscles in the warm bubbles of the hot tub. On cooler evenings, challenge the kids to a family game night on the pool table or sit in front of the wood fireplace for a chill movie night. Lake access and dock are located down path from the back of the home to a set of stairs. Please note that there is a larger number of steps down to the water. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

There is a working wood fireplace available for use, however firewood is not provided. Locally available for purchase.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. For a list of restricted breeds and our full policy regarding dogs, please contact us directly.

AFTER BOOKING: An email will be sent to the address provided during check-out; please check for action items needed to secure your reservation. The subject of this email will start with "URGENT: Complete Your Booking For"... and may be in your Promotional/Marketing folders depending on your email provider and settings.

TOILETRIES & PAPER PRODUCTS: Bed linens and bath towels provided w/rental. No soaps, toiletries, paper products, trash bags, etc. will be provided with the exception of a welcome bag including a few starter items. Please pack accordingly.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. This policy is in place to help combat fraudulent activity that is more likely to occur in last-minute arrivals.
