Bella struttura, ottima posizione
Posizione ottima e molto tranquilla, la struttura è deliziosa e il personale molto gentile. Il divano letto non comodo e la stanza non era preparata per 4 persone, abbiamo provveduto da soli facendoci dare lenzuola e asciugamani dal gentile receptionist..

This was previously a nice place to stay. Now though, no desk in the room, no closed captions on the TV, No ice in the icemaker, no breakfast. Also no Guaranteed parking- they'll give you a pass, but another guest can steal your spot and force you to park on the street. And then on top of all of that they charge me for the room even though I had paid in advance through Travelocity

The gardens are lovely. The property is several one houses turned to hotel rooms and not in real good shape. I’m in my 70s and had to haul my suitcase up the stairs. Nobody warned me about this or offered to help. Everything was functional in my room but the people ahead of me at checkout complained about windows that wouldn’t open and no hot water. Go somewhere else.

The location in Berkeley is convenient for walking to stores and restaurants and the UC campus. The Inn is nicely landscaped and feels homey rather than like a motel chain. The service is outstanding for any request. Coffee in the lobby is delicious. The rooms that face the street are a bit noisy due to traffic, but the courtyard rooms are quiet. I highly recommend this inn.

The room was tiny with no place to hang clothes. The curtains were hung with safety pins and the door jam was cracked as if someone had tried to break into the room. As a result, the door did not close completely. They advertise large and spacious rooms and charge a premium price, but the room I ended up with was very small and cramped.

Dingy, unfriendly, desperately in need of care, horrible bed. I had stayed there prior to the pandemic and it was quite good. COVID seems to have caused it to go to the dogs. The exterior on Telegraph seems the only thing still kept up, everything else is worthless.

It was a cute inn we stayed for 2 nights and honesty for the price it’s what’s you’d expect. The staff is pleasant and willing to help. Right across the street is a coffee shop and about a 15 min walk down and you’re on Berkeley campus. The area wasn’t too bad there’s a few tents and homeless wondering around but they were not a problem. The only thing is you can hear everything from the people passing in the halls and the walls are thin so beware

The towels were nice and soft. The general location is good - restaurants within walking distance. Everything else was mostly very sub-standard in Room 608 for my one night stay. There were 3 windows with no window coverings, one of which was in a toilet room with a large window right next to the toilet! The twin bed was made in such a way that the top covers barely covered the mattress, no less a full human! It was difficult to find an outlet for my phone charger and when I did, it was definitely not in a convenient location. I will not stay here again and now feel even more leery about the photos that are posted for hotels! This one's photos were very deceiving of what the rooms and property really are!

The hotel is nice and everyone that works there is pleasant. But the room had a bad layout, the bed was next to the door the couch was butted against the fire place. Parts of the room looked unfinished and or dated. Could use some maintenance for minor dings and definitely they need new furnishings. The bed was comfy and I slept well and also the location is right where the action is in Berkeley on telegraph. Good times

Awesome, genuine old Bed and Breakfast!
One of my favorite spots! Pandemic has taken out the breakfast and fun hangout in the cozy spots around the Inn options, sadly (and understandably!), but it still absolutely rocks, even if in a slightly haunted way. Reasonable prices, awesome old rooms. And its old, so understand that if you get a third floor room there is no elevator and the hot water takes a *while* to heat up. But a small price to pay for a rad spot, in the middle of Berkeley, and easy to get to the rest of the bay from there - or welcome visitors!

This wonderfully eccentric property has rooms all over three adjacent buildings, and I was unlucky enough to get one that might have at one time been a large utility closet. Tiny, with a few critical things, like curtains, falling apart. No clothes closet was another inconvenience. So be sure to look at the room you're offered before agreeing to it. On the other hand the staff were helpful and tried their best. One explained to me that the property has recently changed hands and a lot of work is needed and underway. So stay tuned. UCBerkeley's campus and many attractions are only a few blocks away.

Internet access was spotty/poor. No late checkout option at all. Some windows were painted shut in my room. The only good thing was the price.

We wish you had made our staff aware of this as they would have gladly taken care of the issue and switched your room to ensure a pleasant stay for you. Nevertheless, we have noted your feedback, and we will have your comments additionally reviewed by our housekeeping team to ensure our standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times. We are sorry to hear that you had difficulties with our WIFI. We generally have a strong WIFI signal, so there must have been an issue on this particular occasion. 100年前に地元の富豪が建てた邸宅を60年前に宿泊施設にした物だそうです。 フロントがある母屋以外に敷地内に幾つかの建物があります。 名前の通り、花の時期に訪れたら素敵かも知れません。 もっと丁寧にリノベーションして、歴史とストーリーを感じられるようになれば、人気スポットになるでしょう。 インド系のスタッフ数名がフロントを対応。9pmにチェックインした時の担当は、2泊の予定なのに1泊しか予約されてないから、明日一度チェックアウトしたら、空き部屋に泊まれるから、そうしろ、ホテル側の問題では無いから、Hotels.comに問い合わせろの繰り返し。 予約画面をみせて、予約番号から検索し直すように何度か頼んで、やっと本来の予約を見つけてくれたが、このやり取りに謝罪は無し。 彼以外のスタッフはフレンドリーで問題無しでした。 いつもの11月より暖かい気候の中、私の泊まった201室。室内はとても寒くヒーターを付けると大きなモーター音で寝られない。スイッチひとつでオンオフ出来る暖炉は火事や酸欠が怖くて付けっぱなしというわけにはいかないと悩ましい夜を過ごしました。車椅子対応になっていて床が地面と近いのが理由かなぁ… バスタブの無いバスルームの寒さはタイル貼りということもあり、更に辛い。 シャワーの水圧は節水の為かとても低く、体を温めたり、気持ちよく泡を落とすには心許無いレベル。 ビジネスの用事を済ますには満足出来るロケーションと価格。隣のブロックにあるビルマレストランも美味しかった。 寒い時期を避けて、バスルームの不満を我慢すれば合格点。

The bathroom was unusable and filthy, the room smaller so bad it was hard to get to sleep, was also dirty, the walls were very thin and could hear everything the neighbors did. The carpet was wet, the heater blew dust and smoke and we woke up having a hard time breathing. There was also a huge deposit on the room, but I’m not not sure what for after seeing the room. Well, we left it as it was and got out as soon as we could.

Location is great. Did not like no food service, also neither room or lobby has refrigerator or microwave so must eat all meals at restaurants. Furniture in bad condition, very old and drawers did not close properly. Staff very helpful and nicely maintained outside property.
