Nestled in an urban forest (our condo is located in the city, far away from the wildfire though) in Emeryville, this quiet and comfortably furnished condo may be just what you're looking for. With a two-month minimum lease, it would be perfect for visiting scholars or interns, travelling nurses, or anybody wanting to take some time to explore the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area.

The Space:
This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Emeryville condo is on the second floor with outdoor access, no interior hallways or elevators. The 860 sq ft includes a living room with leather sofa and chair, a writing desk and wall of shelving with a flat-screen TV. The dining area has a table with four chairs and a lovely view of the redwoods. A fully equipped kitchen includes all new appliances, along with a coffee pot, toaster oven, instant pot, and all the housekeeping basics. Enjoy morning coffee and tea on your private, furnished balcony, entertained by the birds and squirrels in the trees above. The bedrooms feature a queen-size bed in one and a full-size bed in the other, both with luxury linens and spacious closets. The bathroom is newly remodelled, with a tub shower combo. Also included is an in-suite laundry closet with a new full-size washer and dryer. Parkin your own private covered parking space, with additional visitor parking spots available.

The Neighborhood:
The condo is in Emeryville, 1 block from Pixar, and walking distance to local restaurants and stores (Trader Joes, Target, Ikea, the famous Emeryville Public Market, and Bay Street outdoor shopping mall) It is an 8-minute drive to the UC Berkeley campus, and 7 miles to the financial district of San Francisco (you can take bart, drive or bus to the city), The free city bus stop to explore Emeryville (Emery Go Round) is a one minute walk! A 10 min walk takes you to the Emeryville Amtrak Station, where you can catch a train to any city in the US.
There are numerous ethnic and speciality restaurants (Italian, Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, French, Japanese, burgers, pizza, Swiss-style fondue, Chinese, Korean barbecue, a Subway), and coffee houses within 15 minutes of the condo (Peet's Coffee headquarter is 2 blocks away_ 5min walking distance). You will also find a local cinema, farmers markets, bookstores, vintage clothing stores, and music stores. A large CVS pharmacy is a block away and Trader Joes are 3 minutes by car or a 15-minute walk. A swimming pool is located inside an elementary school close by (walking distance), and it's open to the public.

Access:
The nearby freeway access will take you to San Francisco, Oakland, Marin County via the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, Silicon Valley, and Lake Tahoe. Twenty minutes driving will take you to San Francisco across the Bay Bridge, or if you take BART from the downtown Berkeley station, it’s about a 15-minute ride to SF. Emeryville is located between Oakland and Berkeley.

We will welcome you when you arrive virtually and will be available (by email or phone) during your stay to answer any questions. You will have the condo to yourself and not be disturbed. If we need to provide routine maintenance of any kind, we will give you 24-hour notice. We can provide you with the name of a reliable housekeeper to use if desired. The condo is equipped with a vacuum and cleaning supplies.
