Bella l'idea della macchinetta per il caffè...peccato che non ho avuto il coraggio di usarla! Anche quella andrebbe pulita!! Tralasciamo le macchie sulla moquette...purtroppo è davvero poco igienico questo tipo di pavimento. Colazione continentale discreta. ”

“La stanza era arredata molto bene e in modo originale, le dimensioni adeguate e il letto spazioso. Il bagno era stato pulito molto in fretta, se era stato pulito: sul lavandino c'eral'impronta di una saponetta usata precedentemente, la parte del WC sotto l'asse era sporca di urina in più punti. Il pavimento del bagno era stato scopato, ma lurido perché non lavato probabilmente per più giorni. Nella teiera nell'armadio della camera abbiamo trovato le bustine di té bagnate del cliente precedente!...

“On arrival at the Hawk Inn I was greeted in a very polite and friendly manner. Booking in was extremely simple, I love the express booking in before arrival. My room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice touches such as mini fridge for drinking water and some fresh milk instead of little milk jiggers. And delicious homemade shortbread instead of plastic wrapped mini selection. There was also a nespresso machine in case you didn’t fancy the instant type plus tea bags. Bathroom had a great...

“Fantastic location ”

“We had an amazing Christmas at the Hatchet. Christmas Eve food was great and local musicians provided excellent entertainment which everyone in the pub joned in with. A fantastic atmosphere. The hotel rooms were warm and comfortable. Although we had one minor glich with our room, it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Thank you Gerry. We will certainly be staying at The Hatchet next time we are visiting Wiltshire. ”

“Not too much to comment on a single overnight stay, did not require breakfast. Knocked 1 star off service not because there was anything wrong but just seems odd to say it was excellent when my only interaction consisted if being issued with a key. Staff were polite and friendly for this short interaction ”

“Un pub con camere in struttura separata dal pub (pochi metri). Le camere sono abbastanza ampie e con ottima dotazione: macchina per espresso, bollitore e minibar con birra, acqua e latte. Comodo parcheggio di fronte alle camere. Molto buono il cibo sia per la colazione che per i pasti principali, e ovviamente ottima la birra. Il punto di forza resta comunque il personale, sempre disponibile e impegnato a fare sentire il cliente a casa propria, complimenti a tutti!”
