“The check-in staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and had all the amenities. The bathroom was sparkling, the shower very good and there was a heated towel rail. The location is well signposted, has plenty of parking space and is an easy 15 minute walk from the centre of town.”

“We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. “Overall the property needs updating, it was very clean when you consider that it does need a lot of work doing to fetch it up to a good standard. However good value for money and comfy beds.”

Only issue was an unexpected heatwave in March: upper test rooms are very warm, heating not controlable and have winter duvets so you may fry at night. You can apparently ask for sheets and a blanket. Will return for sure, a lovely hotel and town”
