“Thank you for the stay, the tv wasn’t working quite right but they looked after us. The staff seemed genuinely sincere in making you feel welcome & comfortable. Lugging up the suitcases to the first floor was a workout but they have a small elevator to take over once you hit reception. ”

“The staff at the front desk were terribly Friendly- MS REBECCA, KUSEY (hope I got it right) and the very lovely GM of the hotel. She offered my husband the local beer which was a very kind gesture. We were surprised at the respectfulness, friendliness and everything that you can ask from a front desk staff. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious. My husband enjoyed the bacon.”

“Great location, it had everything we needed. Right in the heart of the old part of Chur, easy walking distance to everything.. nice comfy bed & very clean, easy to get in to the apartment too. The sofa had quite a few stains & the headboard could do with a hoover but otherwise lovely.”

“The most uncomfortable accommodations but inexpensive Appenzell you can’t be picky if you’re on a budget. The room, including the en suite bathroom is no bigger than a standard American bathroom, airless, windowless, and claustrophobic. We did not sleep, no air quality controls. However, the establishment is charming, the breakfast was ample and the staff is ultra kind and the hotel\restaurant is a five minute walk from the train station and superbly located- loved Appenzell and the surrounding...
