Casa Vista Airosa has beautiful views over the landscape and the Lagoa of Obidos.
The house is ideal for a family that wants to go on holiday with grandparents or for two families. There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. On the first floor there are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. A cot and high chair are available. The beds have good mattresses and duvets (partly down).
The (closed) kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with all large (washing machine, dishwasher and fridge-freezer combination) and small electrical appliances. The living room has a spacious dining table with 8 comfortable chairs, a sofa and two armchairs. Reading material, board games and TV are available. There is free WIFI.
Bed linen, towels, beach towels and kitchen textiles are provided. The vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron are in the basement and there is also a beach bucket with scoop, etc. and a beach umbrella. Normal final cleaning is included in the price.
Additional fees may apply. For example, there is a surcharge for dogs per night/per dog and a laundry surcharge of €50 per stay. In addition, the municipality of Obidos levies a tourist tax for foreign tourists.
From the house you can walk straight into the fields, where a lot of fruit is grown. For walking enthusiasts, the municipality has set out several short and longer routes in the area around Obidos, including the village of Sobral da Lagoa. There is a shop/cafe in the village, where you can buy fresh rolls and fruit and vegetables every day, but you can also do other daily shopping here.
There is much to do in the area for active holidaymakers, young and old. There are several golf courses nearby. You can sail, SUP, surf and canoe on the lagoon. Lessons can be taken at Escola da Vela in Nadadouro, among others. There is also surfing on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular surfing beaches can be found in Peniche, Baleal and Nazaré.
Foz do Arelho is a child-friendly seaside resort. The beach on the lagoon is safe and large, making it a nice place for those seeking peace and quiet. There are many eateries along the boulevard. For the older children: remains of dinosaurs have been found near Lourinha and a park has been created with life-size replicas. Dino Parque Lourinha (dinoparque.pt). For water park enthusiasts: you can go to Peniche and Nazaré.
There are also two mountain areas nearby, the Serra d' Aire e Candeeiros, where caves can be visited, and the Serra de Montejunto. Walking routes have been set out in both areas.
Nice towns to visit are nearby: Obidos, Nazaré, Alcobaça and Caldas da Rainha are definitely worth a visit. Lisbon can be reached within an hour by car and can also be reached quickly by bus from Obidos. For culture lovers, a visit to the city is highly recommended.
