Explore one of Florida’s most famous natural attractions, known for its crystal-clear spring waters and iconic glass-bottom boat tours. The park also offers hiking, kayaking, wildlife viewing, and opportunities to explore the scenic Silver River. I highly recommend a glass-bottom boat ride for a unique look beneath the spring’s clear waters.

A car is the easiest and most convenient way to explore Ocala and the surrounding attractions. From the home, guests can easily drive to local restaurants, shopping areas, parks, springs, and equestrian destinations. Having a vehicle is especially helpful for visiting attractions such as World Equestrian Center, Silver Springs State Park, Rainbow Springs, and Ocala National Forest, where public transportation options are limited.

Guests who prefer not to drive can use local taxi and rideshare services for transportation around Ocala. Rental cars are also available in the area, providing a convenient option for guests arriving without their own vehicle.

For guests flying into Ocala, rental-car services are available near Ocala International Airport, making it easy to pick up a vehicle and continue to the property.

Public transportation is available in Ocala, but service coverage and schedules may not be as convenient for reaching attractions outside the main city area. For the best experience, we recommend having a car, especially for longer day trips and exploring the natural attractions around Ocala.

Peaceful Retreat — House Rules & Guest Policies

Welcome to The Peaceful Retreat. We are pleased to host you and ask that you treat our home, neighbors, and community with the same care and respect you would expect in your own home. By making a reservation, you agree to the following House Rules and Guest Policies.
1. Rental Agreement & Guest Information
After booking, the reservation holder will receive a rental agreement and check-in form that must be completed, signed, and returned before arrival.
Guests must provide a valid working phone number and accurate guest information.
If you are a local resident or under 23 years of age, please contact us before making your reservation so we can review the circumstances of your stay.
Only guests listed on the reservation may stay at the property unless additional guests have been approved in advance.
2. Occupancy & Unauthorized Guests
The maximum occupancy is 5 guests.
The number of people on the property may not exceed the approved occupancy at any time without prior written approval.
Unauthorized guests, visitors, or gatherings may result in cancellation of the reservation and removal from the property without refund, where permitted by the rental agreement and applicable law.
3. No Parties or Events
No parties, large gatherings, receptions, or events are permitted.
This is a residential neighborhood, and the home is intended for quiet family and vacation stays—not parties or entertainment venues.
Small, quiet family gatherings may be considered only with advance written approval. Any approved gathering must comply with occupancy limits, quiet hours, parking requirements, and all other House Rules.
Unapproved events or gatherings may result in termination of the reservation.
4. Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Please keep voices, music, television, outdoor activity, and other noise at respectful levels, particularly during nighttime hours.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that everyone in their party respects the surrounding residential neighborhood.
5. No Smoking, Vaping, Drugs or Open Flame
This is a non-smoking property.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the home, including the use of cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, vape pens, and similar products.
Illegal drugs and illegal activity are strictly prohibited.
Candles, incense, sage, and other open flames are not permitted inside the home.
A $200 per day remediation/cleaning charge may apply for smoking or vaping violations, in addition to any actual costs associated with damage, odor removal, or remediation.

A small security deposit authorization may be placed on the reservation holder`s credit card approximately two days before arrival to cover accidental damage.
The authorization will be released after checkout, subject to any permitted deductions.
