The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated but the carpet is filthy and ALL of the furniture needs replaced. There were 3 broken plastic chairs on the balcony. We contacted the realty company and they replaced them with 4 plastic chairs. The view is great but the outdated furniture and dirty carpets will keep us from renting this unit again.

Would not recommend.

Good: Location and view, elevators were fast, kitchen remodel was good. Bad: Maintenance man let himself into the unit with no badge or official attire after 9:00 PM claiming an emergency to check for a leak in the master bathroom. Hot water lasts for maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Carpet is covered in stains throughout unit and holds a musty smell. Dust stains on ceiling by ventilation register. Bathrooms heavily corroded, missing bars, cracked tiles, pieces missing off of the toilet seats. Slider VERY difficult to open and close. Beds and furniture are very old and uncomfortable. Furniture very worn down. No USB outlets anywhere. Pictures in listing are not accurate of the condition. For the price I paid, I expected better. Invest a little.

What a view!

The best part of this condo is the amazing view from the 19th floor- ocean view from one side, bay view from the other. We enjoyed the Golden Sands amenities such as the private beach area, pool, tiki bar, and cornhole. The only issue we had was running out of hot water very quickly- 3 out of 4 of us had cold showers.

Needs to be updated....

First, location was great. Second, pool and gym area really nice - on top floor. Third, view great. Poor communication with Vacasa - never responded to emails except for some boilerplate junk. Kitchen was remodeled and very nice. Furniture a little shabby (to be expected at the beach). The owner needs to rip out the bathtubs - who takes baths anymore - and convert into shower stalls. Water flow poor and hot water ran out fast - assume the place had a small HW heater. Still, it is a good place to stay except it needs some up dating.

Very Nice Condo

The condo is very nice and clean. You can't beat the view! I do think that the beds need an upgrade. I felt that they were very uncomfortable for my liking.

Quick away time

Nice, comfortable, & clean. Indoor pool was closed for repairs which was one reason we chose this condo. Bathrooms could be updated with walk in showers & handicap toilets which would make it more appealing to us seniors.
