The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly studio just steps away from the beach! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific beach views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great views but below fair room

Great views and access to beach but when you can't go to beach due to bad weather, you're stuck with a below fair room. We had a ceiling and wall leak due to rain, begining at 2am our first night. Dripped all night long. Things were falling a part (lighting, toilet, TV, outlets). The place needs and upgrade, not just a fresh coat of paint. Bed was very used and uncomfortable. We had such a bad stay, we left a day early which I have never done. Very disappointed.

The location was not clean, the condo was outdated and had old outlets, some didn't work. No one was around to help at the front desk and we had no one to contact when we needed things like towels.

Family Friendly and Safe!

Check in was easy, condo was perfectly place right on the beach, tiki bar was an added plus, as well as the indoor pool and two outdoor pools. I loved the assigned parking a plenty of security to feel safe. The balconies looking out over the ocean was breath taking. Elevators are always full but should be expected with so many units. The residents were all so welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to stay again

Very lovely place. Perfect for a couple. Beautiful view to watch the sunrise each morning. Moments from the beach. Great Tiki/snack bar. LOVED the reserved parking!! Made coming back to the condo so stress free. Condo was just like depicted in photos. General Beach vibe--no bugs :) The only bummer was that there were only 4 elevators for the entire place, which is not the fault of the renter. Just be prepared to wait upon check in (nothing horrific, but you just need to be patient because others are trying to start their vacation as well) We enjoyed the location, the quietness of everything, yet the ability to go downstairs and enjoy the nightly entertainment. Overall a fantastic vacation spot.

Cleaning service

The condo itself was nice but on arrival my wife spent nearly an hour cleaning what was supposed to be already cleaned. She swept the sand and dirt from the floors, wiped sand out of the dresser drawers and off of the kitchen counter and table. Also the dirty bedsheets , bath towels and wash cloths were left on the floor in the entrance hallway. No help from the Vacasa office downstairs. But after all of that our vacation was still very pleasant
