It is a beautiful unit but our vacation was ruined by construction
Each year, my roomate from the 70s and I meet up at the beach. For years, we have been looking for that unit that was going to be our "forever rental" and when we walked into the unit, we believed it would be this one. The unit was immaculate, updated, smelled very good and the kitchen was outfitted much better than mine. The beach access was short and we loved the fact there was an elevator. We arrived there Saturday evening and had a lovely time on Sunday. When we were having coffee on the balcony that day, 3 people asked to come into our unit to view the balcony. We assumed it was a general contractor, the head of the condo and some other gentleman. They went out to the balcony and started talking about needed repairs. We were standing right there with them and not one of them told us what was going to happen. We enjoyed the rest of Sunday relaxing on the balcony and the beach. Come Monday, all hell breaks lose with this unit. A crane with a bucket started up at 7:30am with workers taking over our balcony all day. Tues it rained, so after starting the crane at 7:30am, they worked for 2 hours. On Wednesday, same thing. Crane starts at 7:30 and we have no access to balcony. On Thurs, they start crane at 7:00am and took over our balcony again. Angry and very upset, we left early that day. Why someone never told us about this is just incomprehensible and rude.
