The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

This coastal 1 BR with private Den condo is perfect for your next beach-cation! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, and microwave, and a breakfast bar that seats four. Don't hesitate and surprise your loved ones with savory meals and beach snacks during your stay. The living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. Then, make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sun set that will blow your mind! The on-site washer/dryer adds convenience to your stay.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This is a no frills property however the ocean view from the bedroom and balcony make up for what's missing on the inside. There are definitely some things that could be done to improve the space but it was adequate for just my spouse and I.

Great view and location but property lacks some key amenities. Beds and pillows are not great. Only drip coffee maker…who makes drip coffee anymore? Balcony furniture is plastic and old. Not sure I would stay here again.

The condo was as listed. It could use some updating but all the appliances worked. We did have an issue with the garbage disposal and I texted the property manager late at night and they replied back right away that they would have someone stop by the next day. When we came back from the beach that day it was fixed. The staff was all super friendly. My adult children who arrived on different days were able to get parking passes for a fee easily for their cars, granted we were there the week after Labor Day.

Weekend with family in OC

Condo was as pictured. Nice ocean front view and direct beach access. Pools and workout room very nice. Kitchen is in need of updates, bedrooms need new mattresses. Best to avoid the elevators during check-in times if you can.

Really relaxing

Only thing is the bedroom on the Oceanside the mirrors need taken down paint the whole room with keel paint including ceiling , the paint it will make the place look beautiful it gets rid of stains and water marks , do it in living room also . It also needs new mattress. The kitchen needs new fridg and bottom cabinets chanced . Put some better dishes and coffee pot . Get at Walmart cheap , wait for sale of frig , all can be done relatively cheap place is food could be great , other then that I would rent it again .

Spectacular view

NEW CARPET!! Was nervous about staying here due to previous reviews about the carpet. Was pleasantly surprised to find it was replaced. Breathtaking views from living room and bedroom. Would absolutely stay here again. My only criticism would be that the kitchen was lacking some essentials like spices and the stove is very dated and 1 burner is almost impossible to use. The view made it all better though!!

Convenient

Convenient location to the beach especially with young kids. The pools were nice, smaller than expected but not too crowded. The outside lounge/table area was very clean and plenty of room for kids to dance/run around. The outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach was great too. The unit was small but clean, the master bed is comfortable but the second bed and pullout couch need to be updated. Our son didn’t mind the second bed but an adult would’ve been uncomfortable. Overall clean and would stay there again if I needed to. We’ve already booked the same location for next summer, but a little bit bigger unit since we’re a family of 5. If the price is right this is a good unit, if they upgrade the bed then it would be 5 stars!

Pictures are deceiving

The pictures have you think you will be walking into a beautiful update condo. It's not big, except for the master bedroom. It's listed as a 2 bathroom, I didn't consider it a 2 bathroom, one side has a sink and toilet, the middle is the shared tub, other side is one sink and toilet. The carpet is disgusting. The condo was supplied with everything you need to cook. The best thing for this condo was the view and balcony

Very well equipped and spectacular view

On the beach. Views are unmatched from the main area and main bedroom - both accessible to the balcony. Property was clean. Extremely thoughtful in the supplies provided for this property and utilizing the space. Jack and Jill bathroom setup with very helpful. Only a few suggestions - clean or replace carpet. Corridors could use upgrades and lighting. Main areas are clean - could use upgrades.
