We absolutely loved the house and all the amenities! The walk to the beach was much closer than I thought.The only thing that I would say that I wish I knew was that there are a lot of beach chairs and a beach cart and we wouldn't have packed that had we known. I could have asked as well but didn't so thats on me. I did ask quite a few questions before arriving and while there with very quick responses!!I highly recommend the property!

The Best Home

We've been heading to the beach together as a family for over 16 years. We've stayed in Sandbridge VA, Oak Island NC, Lauderdale by the Sea FL, Pensacola FL, and then this year we found Carolina Leg-a-Sea in Ocean Isle Beach NC. In all of years renting homes, this was by far the best one. The space, the design, the well-designed outdoor area near the pool with a tiki bar, the commercial ice maker, the extra fridge, the beach chairs and bikes...I can not say enough great things about this property. The kitchen was well-stocked and the proximity to the beach was so convenient. We will definitely be returning to Ocean Isle and hope to stay here again. Also, the owners are great! Very helpful and open to communicate and do anything to ensure you have a great stay. We loved this place!!! Highly recommended.

Our family began scheduling a summer beach vacation four years ago. I must say that Carolina-Leg-A-Sea was the best house we have ever rented. The homeowners did not skimp on anything when designing and furnishing this house. The extra family room was a great gathering place for the grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped and the extra refrigerator/freezer in the storage room was awesome! The beach was a short walk away, and the pool/hot tub was enjoyed by everyone. The back deck provided beautiful sunsets! The elevator was a great addition and was always working. Communication was wonderful and we were even informed when the pool had extra chemicals added during the weekly cleaning. We will definitely be booking this house again!

Great Place to Stay with our large family!!

We stayed at this house during the 2nd week in August this year. When we arrived the house was in great, clean condition. It was my mom, 2 sisters families and our own and we all really felt like we had plenty of space. The kitchen had every appliance that we could’ve needed and my sister cooks a lot so we used them! On the top floor is the King room and Queen room, both with decks. The middle floor was the bunk room, a queen room and a king room. The elevator was a very nice one compared to others we used in the past. Just make sure to keep both doors completely shut until it stops. One of my favorite things was the incredible amount of storage! The rooms had great closet and dresser space to completely unpack!! I don’t have enough good things to say about the pool and outdoor area! We were in the pool, hot tub and tiki bar a lot of the week. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. There is a room on the bottom that has a full size, beach toys, shibumi and bikes to use. Also, there is an ice machine. We really enjoyed this house and can’t say enough good things about it!

Tropical Storm Debby Beach Family Vacation

Carolina Leg-A-Sea is a beautiful vacation home! Our family of 7 adults and 3 children were able to spread out and enjoy the many amenities the home has to offer. We were there the week of Tropical Storm Debby and were disappointed with the rainy weather but decided to stay. The pool, hot tub, great supply of games and numerous tvs kept us occupied. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking which we did a lot of. The outdoor porches and pool area are great spots to enjoy and relax! The owners, Gavin annd Karen, even checked in on us and helped with our decision to stay during the storm. We will stay here again if we decide to come back to Ocean Isle.
