Overall, this hut is charmingly decorated and fun for the kids. Proximity to the stuff the town has to offer is convenient. The nearby beach is awesome!However, this is really only a two bedroom cottage. Two rooms upstairs with an extra (small) bed in the hallway. No upstairs bathroom. Second bedroom has no window and is not soundproofed as we could hear the person in the Nextdoor unit very clearly. Staircase felt a bit sketchy. There were cords for the lighting (that didn’t work) that showed obvious signs of short circuiting/burn marks. No AC, and the box fan (1) that was left upstairs did not work after attempting to plug into several outlets. Additionally, the exterior of the properly is not well maintained with over growth and debris (including shattered glass found in parking lot). The neighboring properties are unsightly (no view from this rental) with tents and broken down cars in the yard in the direct view of the kitchen and bedroom windows. Overall, my family made the property work for our two night stay, but it was not the most comfortable. Communication and check in/out procedures were went very well.
