1 ACRE PRIVATE BEACH & PIER, FAMILY & PET FRIENDLY HOME

This 1500 sqft family and pet friendly property has 3 master suites (1 king and 2 x queen) each with an adjoining bathroom and is perfect for a weekend getaway, weekly or monthly stay where the peace and quiet of a private home directly on the waterfront is just what you are looking for. We enjoy the patronage of many repeated guests and their 5-star reviews speak for themselves!

Our home sits on 1 acre and features its own private beach and 250ft pier with fishing dock where many memories are waiting to be created with fishing, crabbing, kayaking, beach games, amazing sunrises and sunsets and campfires.

The property has beautiful modern furnishings and fixtures and is not cluttered! It contains 3 comfortable master suites with comfortable and high-end beds in each room. The kitchen is fully-equipped, and open to the dining and living area, for ample seating.

The rear deck is expansive with unobstructed views of the spectacular Mississippi Sound and right out the front, Horn Island. The deck has room to sit for that morning coffee and to lay out and catch some sun. You will see lots of birds (eagles, pelicans, cardinals, bluejays), many fish and dolphins passing by. The views are priceless and we know this will be one of your favorite places to be.

The property provides secure covered parking as well as other needed amenities such as Direct TV, WiFi internet and full washer/dryer. We’ve thought of most things you will need, so show up and relax. You can enjoy use of two kayaks, BBQ’s (one gas and one charcoal), many board games and puzzles, dart board, tree swings and hammock chair.

The property is 20 minutes from downtown Ocean Springs where you can enjoy many awesome options for dining, arts, boutiques, micro-breweries, and places to see. Biloxi is approximately 30 minutes drive and host many options for entertainment and dining, including famous casinos that will certainly hit the mark. This is a spectacular part of the gulf coast.

The house is beautiful, and a perfect setup with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The beach is serene and peaceful especially at night. Neighborhood is quiet, and Ubers are easy to get if you want to go out for dinner and drinks.

Pelican's Perch was a great place to stay and as advertised. The house is very clean, comfortable and updated. There were plenty of utensils, cookware, place settings, etc. to make several of our meals at home. The deck was a great place to start the mornings and end the day with a soft white sand beach for the day. We did not venture in for any swimming, but the tides come in and out so far that it would be wading, as the water is only ablaut 3 feet deep at the end of the pier. The fishing off the pier was great and we caught fish everyday including redfish, black drum, catfish, whiting and even a stingray. We also caught 2 small crabs. It is a very secluded, quiet place that was very warm and comfortable and a perfect getaway for my wife and I. The towns of Ocean Springs and Pascagoula are both close and offer happy hour opportunities, dining and shopping. Overall a great location, a very nice house and amenities to make it a great getaway.

The house is lovely. Beautiful water view. So quite a peaceful here. Had plenty of room for trailers we were both pulling. It takes about 20 minutes to get to a restaurant! Ocean Springs is a great little town. Would stay here again

Our stay was very enjoyable. The home was very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. The fishing was great. We spent each day on the pier and caught black drum, mullet, croaker, speckled trout, redfish, catfish, and sting ray. We will definitely be staying there again.

A quiet retreat!

My husband and I loved to sit on the wharf every morning and evening to watch the birds and dolphins. So relaxing!The home had everything we needed and is one of the cleanest homes we have rented!

Great location for day trips

We selected this property because it is within driving distance of both Pensacola and New Orleans, and that worked out very well. There are plenty of other attractions within a 90-minute drive, and it is also very easy to get into Ocean Springs and to the public beaches. The neighborhood is quiet and private. We enjoyed the shady deck, and the crabbing was excellent. We took amazing pictures of the full moon over the bay and watched some impressive thunderstorms in the distance. So overall, we had a nice stay. The home is advertised as pet friendly, which it is, but unfortunately, not all the pet hair from the last furry visitor had been cleaned properly. The beach was also a lot muddier than we had expected. Just like the owners advise, water shoes are a MUST. Finally, there were pieces of glass on the beach and previous visitors left empty plastic bottles behind. The two barbeques were dirty, so we decided not to use them. I don't fault the owners for this; you can't control what the water washes up and whether people clean up after themselves. But if you travel with younger kids, you may want to inspect the outdoor area first before you let them play.

Beautiful home, very well stocked with bedding/towels and kitchen items. Did not need to keep running to Walmart for spices,ect. The owners sent a pdf of all the info we needed for the house plus the area.

Lovely sky

I am almost 80 and sometimes not so sure -‘footed. I would have appreciated a more stable means of getting to the dock. The younger among us had no problems, of course, and loved the dock.

2nd time booking

This is our second time booking and the additions of the kayak, crab pots, and fire pit since the last time we visited just added to the already amazing beach house. We caught lots of fish and crabs from the dock and enjoyed the firework shows for the 4th of July. We have already booked again and will make this our go to place when available.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay! This home had the most relaxing and peaceful views. Very quiet area - which we loved. We caught crabs and tons of bait fish and shrimp. Overall highly recommend this home for a quiet relaxing trip!

Gulf Coast Gem

Everything about our stay was fantastic. We live in Virginia and we wanted a special place to stay on our 20th wedding anniversary. We looked at many, many places and decided on the Pelican's Perch for our celebration. We are so happy we did! From the beautiful view of the gulf we had each morning with coffee, to the drum we had for dinner that we caught off the pier, it was perfect! Thank you Tim and Leanne for sharing your home with us!

Thanksgiving Gift

The property is lovely. All we needed and more in the B&B. Only comment is that the king bed is a huge challenge for those of 80. Being right on the ocean was our gift. Even though the temps in November are cool, just being by the water again was wonderful. The bonfire a special time. Loved all the thoughtful little extras.

Impromptu Gulf Vacation

Determined to get in an October vacation with only a few weeks to plan it, this house on the Gulf turned out to be perfect for us. It is in a great location with a breath-taking view of the water. The interior has been lovingly renovated and everything was comfortable. For the lucky person who sleeps on the left side of the bed in the Primary bedroom, you will be treated to beautiful sunrises lying in bed looking out the window. Pelican's Perch was perfectly pleasant.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The owners were fantastic with communication - no middle person management company to deal with. They were aware that we were looking forward to a week of fishing and even went above and beyond by fixing the ramp after Francine so we could access the pier. The house had everything we needed for cooking, including grills and pots/pans. We had a wonderful time. While there were ice trays available (no automatic ice maker), we made a couple of trips to the local ice vending machine to fill our cooler. Thank you to Leanne and Tim for allowing us to stay at your property for the week!
