Immerse yourself in downtown Ocean Springs at the Porch on Government Street. Newly renovated along with a fully gated courtyard-  this warm and inviting one bedroom cottage can comfortably host a family of four. This gorgeous cottage  allows a perfect retreat romantic enough for a couple ready to enjoy the night life, walks by the beach, or downtown yet comfortable enough to accommodate the whole family looking to experience the many parades and other family-friendly entertainment within walking distance. 

The Porch is centrally located in the famed golf cart district for quick walking access to the beach, shopping, dining, festivals, and galleries. The Olive Suite consists of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, full sized kitchen, two full sized sofa sleepers ,and a spacious walk-in shower. The suite also features a separate living room which includes one of the two full-sized futon sofa sleepers. 

Our kitchen includes such amenities as a toaster oven/air fryer, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, four burner stove top, oven, and spacious refrigerator with freezer. There is also an electric grill on site and large outdoor dining area that seats twelve. This cottage does have access ( by request ) to an on site washer / dryer . All king beds are enveloped in sanitary mattress covers and all pillows have zipped protectors on them. We also are a carpet free establishment and all area rugs are washable!   

We have the most wonderful family that has lovingly cared for the cottages for many years and are industrial cleaners. This means we not only clean all units using the most sanitary measures , but deep cleanings and maintenance come with the whole package. 

The spacious bathroom offers a large walk in shower , smart mirrors with lighted and fog technology , spa robes and high end organic spa products. 

We have also provided beach chairs and a yoga mat for use during your stay. The Porch offers multiple fire pits  in our shared courtyard area, books , lawn games, plenty of books in our tiny libraries, and s'more kits ( by request) along with ample parking  in our off street parking lot. Best of all, we are right on the main parade trail!

We also offer add-on packages for firewood and Smores kits (including electric tabletop option with everything needed for Smores).

*There are a total of four one bedroom / one bathroom cottages on site and completely fenced in, which make it the perfect venue  for larger corporate groups, large families or reunions. All cottages reserved together can accommodate up to 16 guests. 

We use all organic spa products: 

Farmhouse Fresh shampoo and conditioner 

Farmhouse fresh body wash 

Beekman organic goat milk facial soap 

Terra Pure green tea hand soap 

We supply makeup towels along with cotton spa robes. 

We even have light scent diffusers hand made with our Porch line using lemongrass, eucalyptus and hints of lavender. 

Our charcuterie boards are hand made by a local artisan with locally sourced food grade wood. There's even healing chakra crystals- 

The Porch was dreamed up by a former Publicist who took the best of her travels to New York, Miami and Los Angeles and blended chic amenities of the best hotels and paired them into cozy southern cottages. You will find magical touches infused at our properties such as bistro lights, in room fireplaces and outdoor firepits. A lighted memory wall for photo ops and nooks hidden throughout to invoke the imagination. Magic truly happens at the Porch!
