“Not what I expected from the reviews. The a/c in my room didn’t work it was hot I called the front desk asked for another room was told no and basically deal it because there was nothing that could be done breakfast the bagels were so hard. Probably won’t ever stay here again”

“Room and property were clean and quiet. Staff were helpful. The only thing was our room did not have a TV remote and the tv would not turn off with the button on the TV itself. Otherwise, everything was great!”

“The property's permanent residents were rude and off putting towards hotel guests. Some stared and gawked, while others moved around with an air of entitlement and superiority in shared spaces. The Expedia listing showed that there was a pool but when we arrived, we were told that it was for residents only. Besides that, the room was clean, the staff was helpful and courteous, especially the wonderful ladies in the cafe, and the breakfast was better than expected. Probably wouldn't book again,...

“Great stay overall. Only had a half roll of toilet paper when we arrived and we tend to not like housekeeping in our room during our stay so I needed to ask for more. Restaurant was slightly overpriced for the quality and service (only two people working the kitchen and waitstaff) but it was a decent meal. Also had a loud band group banging around the hallway with their equipment at about 10 pm when my family was trying to sleep but what are you gonna do? Overall would stay again for sure and...

“The pictures made it look like the rooms faced inside when in fact they opened outside. We found a cockroach on our last day. I informed the front desk, who I'm pretty sure is the owner. He asked, "What do you want me to do?" I was appalled by his response. He should know to pest control his hotel! Terrible.”

“Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay as it was unclear to me during reservations which Hampton Inn & Suites I was reserving. I needed to be at the location, also near/on St. Charles St, that is closer to Bourbon St (French Quarter/Downtown). I had hoped to transfer my reservation but couldn't. Hampton Inn may want to improve their description of the property location to make it more obvious where the building is to people unfamiliar with New Orleans”

“The rooms were very nice and the staff was great but I was disappointed to see that the top pool was closed as they do show 2 pools in the add and the pools were a factor in me staying there. Other than that everything was great!”

“We didn’t have running hot water during our stay. The packaged warmed croissants that were served for breakfast one morning were most likely spoiled since the ham tasted sour. Staff were friendly and liked it is pet friendly. the 2 bedroom suites rooms we booked are a good size for a family of 5-6. We thought the sofa in the living room though was a pull out bed but it was not. the kitchen fridge kept our food cold. The 2 bedroom suite rooms only had 1 bathroom. wished it had 2 bathrooms .”
