“Clean, good place to staff for a night before a flight”

“I feel bad that I have had to give a mix rating because I feel everything about our stay was going well until I suffered food poisoning. I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. Immediately after my dinner I felt a discomfort but did not think anything of it. When we checked out on 26th May I mentioned this to the receptionist who said there was nothing she could do and I should...

“Nice room and very helpful staff. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we arrived but there's a motorway service stop a few hundred meters away with plenty of food. Would definitely use The Bell and Bottle again.”

“Struttura scelta per essere la più “economy” della zona essendo anche la più lontana da tutto (c’è una fermata bus di fronte) ma comunque ad un cifra in un cui ci si aspetta un minimo di funzionalità. I problemi arrivano da subito: al check-in scopriamo che la colazione inclusa sarebbe stata dalle 9:30 nel bar accanto (mentre sui siti è indicato un orario diverso), troppo tardi per chi intende visitare la zona e uscire presto. “Hotel was great full of character, breakfast was expensive for basic standard breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very large, which was great as I took 3 teens ghost hunting. Very dog friendly”

“Very run down and poorly managed hotel. Tv didn’t work, shower curtain was covered in mold, No clean towels as the took ours and couldn’t replace them for two days. People coming and going all night making a lot of noise talking in reception area that is right next to the rooms. Staff didn’t seem to care we didn’t have any towels for to days and hardly any sleep due to them talking loudly all night and playing music ”

“I was concerned by low price and “guest house” in name, I have been caught out before by some cheaper bookings in Heathrow area. However!!! I cannot fault the value of my single ensuite room! Then to top it off the Italian restaurant below was amazing. I will definitely be using again.”

“2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....
