Hotel vicino a Oglebay Park - Wheeling

“What a pleasant experience I had at this hotel. I was in the area for a funeral, and had driven a long way. The front desk clerk was so friendly and upgraded my room since they were not sold out. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a nice outdoor patio area with a fountain where I sat to read a book. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast had plenty of choices. Coffee and hot water were available in the lobby all the time, along with cookies. I would recommend it.”

“Room appeared clean, but trash from previous occupants was found under the bed. No cooling mirror. Window blinds were broken and did not go up past 12 inches from the bottom. The room was dark even with the lights on in the bathroom had a dim light so no place good to put makeup on. Light switch is outside the bathroom so if you’re sleeping at night and you’re not the only one in the room, you have to turn the light on and open the door to the bathroom and it floods the room with light. “Location was good, the room was fairly clean but had odors. Had to buy air fresheners. If had a small table and two chairs could be better.”

“Staff is super pleasant. Our beds were very clean & comfortable. The floor in the room could have been vacuumed better but no big deal. Microwave & refrigerator worked well and were clean. Coffee in lobby was always full, fresh and hot. We would stay here again.”

“Hotel was going through some renovations but otherwise very clean and quiet. Our room lacked a wardrobe or dresser to put clothes, no place to hang clothing except for the shower rod. Not sure if our room was complete from renovations but it it was it's missing some key pieces of furniture. Overall, I would stay again.”

“The friendliness they’re going over and behind to make sure everything is correct in your room before you check in. I requested the first floor and I got the first floor if you’re an animal lover your love this place because there’s cats outside waiting to greet you and when you came in, there were cats and there was a nice lady sitting in the archway welcoming you in. I highly recommend this place. I’m going back on March 28 and I’m staying here again. I just check to see if I could stay there...
