“Scott the host was extremely welcoming and showed us around the property. He made great suggestions for places to visit in the area and to dine out and left us with a detailed map. The room was very cosy and we enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was very clean and comfortable and we loved the sounds of the river next to the room. Would highly recommend. ”

“We spent three nights at the Lodge. It is an excellent base for exploring Tongariro. Our room was very comfortable and the lodge had a laundry and drying room. Breakfasts were very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Ps. make sure you meet Lucky, a very friendly feline who befriended us 😻”
