Surroundings need major upkeeping, our room was not clean when we got in, and despite the fact that we noted the effort to renew the bathroom, only the wall tiling and mirror coukd be appreciated. It did appear they might have been a bit short-staffed at the time. The highlight of the location is its proximity to a good local stake house, bagel shop, and an Italian restaurant, where I enjoyed some decent sandwiches. “To be honest I was very disappointed to find the improvements that were in the ad weren't true. The restaurant wasn't open so we had food from the bar. The selection was terrible and the food was frozen, not fresh prepared. The pool and hot tub were closed as they have been for years. The Holiday Inn Express would have been a better choice.”
