Chalet in Ohio

“Place was exactly what we were looking for. Nestled in the woods with a pond walking distance to fish in. Beautiful Grounds. Very clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were updated. Loved the gas stove. My only complaint was Wish you had some baking dishes 13x9 or 8x8. I wanted to make a cake and only had cookie sheets. And we could not get the ceiling fan in the great room to work. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.”

“The chalet was a great place for a pool getaway. The pool was very clean and the house had everything we needed. Findlay OH is a nice town with lots of things to do. Paul is the perfect host!”

“The property owners were very responsive. I couldn't believe we found this cabin on such short notice! It was very nice, quiet surroundings, the decor was just right, plenty of throw blankets, the towels inside the basement door by the hot tub and the book nook full of great titles were a nice touch. The interior was clean, but the kitchen runner and living room rug needed to be washed. We specifically looked for a cabin with a fireplace and hot tub. After we put all our luggage in the cabin, I...

“We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was enjoyable. All the reminders about the hot tub made me think that previous people were not respectful or clean with the property so I was a little nervous to use anything. It was a little creepy not having curtains or blinds on the windows. The only rooms with full privacy were the main floor bedroom, bathroom, and downstairs bedroom. A secluded cabin in the woods with just us girls (me being the only adult) gave me “The Hills Have Eyes” vibes lol. The game...

“We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay.”

“Stellar! We knew it was going to be nice, but it exceeded our expectations. Rachel and Bill are excellent hosts and the property is well appointed. Very tranquil. We even saw a bald eagle. The location is excellent. Close to shopping, attractions and the beaches of Lake Erie. We will definitely be back!”

“Annual girls trip with my 2 college besties ! We love coming to this area and this was our 4th year at Buckeye Lake. We’ve had different places each year but this was the best one, hands down! Amazing lake views, right by the lake. Walking distance to the beach and park/boat ramp area. Can also walk down the side walk to a couple bars/restaurants, we went to “The Boatyard” restaurant on Wednesday and there was live acoustic music, good food and great vibes. Not far from highway or grocery...

“Great location for family. Lots of gathering space for games and movies, group cooking and meals - and quiet space too. Saw wildlife daily. Host was very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again.”

“It was in a good area, clean, had everything needed. Loved the hot tub. The only thing I would stress is it has to bedrooms but one is a loft bedroom so you have to climb a ladder to use the second room.was still worth being there instead of a hotel.i would use again.”

“Great communication with the owner.Place was spotless.Very beautiful relaxing setting but close to town for our family trip”

“Location is perfect for exploring hocking hills. It’s clean, roomy and tranquil. We would happily stay here again.”
