  • La Schaefer House si trova su uno dei 65 acri più panoramici nelle Laurel Highlands e si trova a soli due minuti da Ohiopyle State Park. Fai un'escursione in cima all'unità e trascura le viste più spettacolari del monte Sugarloaf! La casa è stata completamente rinnovata nel 2011. La casa offre un camino in pietra e un divano letto nella zona giorno, una cucina completamente attrezzata, tre camere da letto e un bagno. La Schaefer casa può ospitare comodamente 8. Rilassati sull'altalena del portico coperto dove puoi scorgere i cervi e i tacchini che frequentano la proprietà. La Schaefer House si trova su una delle più panoramiche 65 acri nel Laurel Highlands e le sentieri si affacciano la maggior parte delle viste spettacolari di Sugarloaf Mountain! La Schaefer House offre un frutteto con le mele, pere, pesche, susine, uva, cachi, mirtilli, pozzo del fuoco, pozzo dei desideri e grill. In serata si può godere l'ambiente tranquillo dal pozzo del fuoco. Al mattino, rilassati sull'altalena del portico coperto dove puoi intravedere cervi e tacchini che frequentano la proprietà. La casa Schaefer è la perfetta casa lontano da casa. Questa unità include anche Internet ad alta velocità con Wi-Fi in tutta la casa. La casa Schaefer si trova vicino alla cabina Orndorff che può ospitare 6 persone. Affittare entrambe le case per il vostro grande gruppo! Connessione internet ad alta e TV via cavo!

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our long weekend staying at the Schaefer House in the Laurel Highlands. The house is in a perfect location for hiking, biking and rafting. We especially appreciated the pet friendly aspect and the added day to our stay for a great price.

After a long wet day in the rail trail; the heat, electric heater (fireplace) and laundry facilities help to escape the wetness of the day. You do not want to ride a bike to the house, the road was horrible. But once was arrived by a shuttle we found in town. The house was just great.

Cozy cabin near the heart of Ohiopyle

I was impressed with accuracy of the listing for this cabin. It was quaint and cozy, and a very short drive to downtown Ohiopyle. The checkin process was smooth and the provided items were sufficient, but nothing was exceptional that was provided.

Fun trip for son's birthday!

We can up from Hampton Roads Virginia for my son's birthday, skiing at seven springs. We all had a great time. The mattresses were a bit to firm, other than that this place was great. The food and service over at Braddock's was terrific as well. Had a blast, thank you for your hospitality!

Spacious rustic home in the country

There are four houses on the property. Just off the road, it is easy to find. The house is spacious and clean. Has a nice rustic look but has everything you need. The beds are large and comfortable. Check in and out was easy. Great place to enjoy a peaceful weekend in Ohiopyle. Will stay there again.

Falling water family visit

Very nice cabin in a good location. Some suggestions would be mirrors in the bedrooms. With 1 bathroom, it makes it difficult to get ready when the only mirror in the house is in the only bathroom. More seating in the family room and kitchen areas, cabin sleeps 6 but only seats 4 comfortably We always have a great time when we are with family but some of these items would have helped

The house was quirky but very nice. The stairs going up to the bedrooms should have a railing all the way up. The staff was quick to respond when we needed a new coffee pot because the one there didn’t work.

Peaceful retreat

The house was old and rustic but in great shape. We enjoyed the covered porch for morning coffee and evening thunderstorms. I was concerned about the other house being so close but it was not occupied. Please note: no AC. We opened the windows at night and although there was occasional road noise, it wasn’t enough to wake us. Also, supply your own firewood (purchase locally).

Stone House Stay

Overall, this is a lovely place to stay! Clean, super close to the park - without camping, I don’t know that you could find a place better situated!! It was well appointed and functional. My only concern - not complaint - is that the description says there is a sleeper sofa, and that is inaccurate, and we were counting on that! So, the number of people that can sleep in the cabin really needs to be evaluated better. Bedrooms can sleep a couple - whoever is comfortable sharing a bed together. And the living room is really not meant for a sleeping space as the sofa is not the traditional pull-out sofa. Just things to consider. I’d also say that the binder of home information should be updated because it also says there is a hot tub on property and there isn’t! Otherwise, a lovely place and we have already planned to return again and again!!

Wonderful spot & beautiful home

Location, property, and cabin were all stunningly beautiful. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable, and we loved the amenities. It was only a few minutes away from the center of town and very conveniently located. We appreciated that this property was dog friendly. We walked up to the top of the drive and the view was gorgeous in the morning with the mist on the fields and the overlook. We would definitely love to try one the other properties at the same address with the hot tubs too. The only real issue we had was that we ran out of well water after two days even though not everyone showered and we didn’t use the kitchen to cook, so we could not do the dishes or flush the toilet before leaving which felt pretty awful. We also got the check out instructions after we had driven hours home; it would be helpful to have those in advance, especially with the connectivity issues in that area. This may be VRBOs setup though. Everything else was totally lovely!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented the house next door, they closed it down before we arrived and moved us here. Slippery stairs with no railing. We ended up sleeping on the sofa/loveseat. We did not bring our password book, so TV was not optional at all. No books in the house. Furniture looks like it came from Big Lots. Leak in kitchen ceiling is growing mold. Front door is horrid entry. Back porch light is out. Nice fireplace.

Cabin is very nice but felt you should include photos of Orndorff cabin in proximity to Schaeffer house. It was not occupied, but if it was, it would have changed our entire trip due to loud talkers in our group around the fire ring. Cleanliness was good except half eaten oreo left on top of refrigerator. Made me wish I would of bought the oreos I was looking at the prior day. Honestly did like the Schaeffer house.
