We did ask about getting a different room that wasn't on the first floor in a dark corner...but the room was so cute we eventually didn't care. But if you book with a third party -- such as Expedia -- they won't upgrade or accommodate requests. ”

“Great location. Front desk was very nice and accommodated us with a late check in. Loved the frogs croaking outside. Was a busy noisy next door with a group of dudes. Parking was also a bit of an issue. We were in a truck and could barely fit in the last available compact space at the very end of the property. Some cars were double parked, but at least it’s something. Door to balcony was also left open when we arrived there were mosquitos inside. Other than that absolutely loved the upstairs...

“The included breakfast was very good and plenty of food. The afternoon refreshments could have been better. It was the same every day. Lemonade, tea and scones. The grounds are beautiful and the service was excellent. The location is very walkable and there is a beautiful park across the street. I would stay again.”
