Nice older, very clean, air conditioned mobile home in a very safe, quiet community. This property has a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, range oven, washer/dryer, wifi, TV. Everything is definitely dated, but everything works as it should. The carport out front is over a new concrete pad and was large enough for me to park my 16 foot skiff and F150 with no issue. The rustic dock out back is very large. We very much enjoyed watching the sunrise and listening to the many birds on the canal while having our morning coffee. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom very clean. There is also a second bedroom and bathroom also, spotless. There is a steep concrete boat ramp on the property. Although we did not use it, it looks serviceable. Jim the host was great and very attentive. The surrounding area is very nice and has many free public ramps. Unfortunately, during our stay, there were small craft advisories due to 25kt winds and were only able to get out for a short period of time on our last day. For a small skiff like ours I recommend the easy less crowded Nubbin Slough Boat Launch. We enjoyed the Okeechobee County Fair and the Big "O" flea market. For inexpensive local eats, we recommend the Okeechobee Fish Company. If you are looking for a place to quickly access the lake that is very clean, quiet and serviceable I would very much recommend this place. Also I would not recommend this place for small children.
