I was staying with my family and partner. All together we had a great time and enjoyed all aspects of the villa. The pool and whirlpool have been great and the bbq area was lovely for nice evenings. The rooms have been spacious and all that you could want and need was included as well. Beach, bars, shops and so on are also in a good walkable distance. We also had a great time talking to the host who is very friendly and always ready to help if needed.Over all we had a great time and would love to come and visit again. Huge thanks again.

Perfect stay in Okrug

The house was spotless with adequate room for 6 adults. All 3 bedrooms have their own bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need.Decent balconies to sit for breakfast and dry towels etc and a lovely clean pool.Good location with a short walk to beach and bar although the area is quite hilly.The host was very welcoming who went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay.Highly recommend his home cooked barbecue evening which was excellent and very good value. Great place for a family/friends to stay.

Perfect in every way

From the minute we arrived, Iveca and his family did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped and with wonderful views from the balcony. Relaxing by the beautiful private pool was a highlight of the holiday as was the delicious meal that Iveca cooked for us. The location was fantastic, with beaches and cafes in walking distance. Villa Knez and our hosts were perfect in every way!

Villa Knez

My family and I stayed at Villa Knez from the 2nd to the 12th of August. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Ivica is so helpful and welcoming and along with his friend Sandra they could not of done anymore to make us feel welcome and help with any of our needs. The Villa was spotless and when we arrived we were met with a beautiful meat and cheese platter and a cold Beer which was greatly appreciated The location was perfect with a choice of local restaurants that were all good and well priced. I really hope that we can visit again as all my family loved Croatia and Ivica was one of the main reasons

Sehr schöne Villa

Es hat uns alles gefallen. Leider waren wir nur 3 Tage da. Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Villa war sehr sauber und man hat dort alles was man braucht. Kinder waren total glücklich mit dem Pool. Pool war auch sauber. Also wir hatten nichts zu meckern. Bekommt von uns 5 Punkte.

Bardzo było nam miło gościć w Villa Knez. Apartament na wysokim poziomie, czysto, nowocześnie urządzone, na miejscu wszelkie udogodnienia. Basen czysty i zadbany. Byliśmy z dziećmi i bardzo im się podobało. Gospodarze bardzo mili i pomocni. Zostaliśmy bardzo miło przyjęci. Jeśli szukacie ciszy i spokoju, to miejsce jest idealne. W pobliżu plaża, restauracje, lokalne produkty. Polecam wszystkim Villa Knez 👌

Wonderful hosts and excellent accommodation

The accommodation was perfect for us - very clean, spacious, with all the facilities we needed and a lovely view from the balcony. Ivica and his daughter Andrea were wonderful and generous hosts - helping us to settle in, providing us with lifts when needed and even bringing us wine by the pool! The nearby local beach was great, with various water sports (paddling boarding, pedaloes, etc) and a nice beach bar (I would recommend the mojitos!). It was a 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants, and Ivica was happy to give us lifts there and back. Great place to stay with either family or friends.

Ein traumhafter Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Ferienwohnung

Ein richtig schöner Urlaub ist leider zuende. Die Ferienwohnung ist top gepflegt und sehr schön gestaltet. Der Pool lädt jederzeit zu einer kleinen Abkühlung ein. Auch die Nähe gelegene Bucht ist immer für einen Sprung ins Wasser gut. Vielen Dank für die traumhafte Zeit, wir werden noch lange daran denken!

Juli 2022

Wir waren im Juli 2022 mit insgesamt 3 Pärchen in dieser wirklich schönen Ferienwohnung. Sie ist ruhig und etwas abseits vom Stadtzentrum von Okrug Gornji gelegen. Wir würden daher auch empfehlen mit dem Auto zu kommen oder sich von dem freundlichen Gastgeber ein Auto zu leihen. Der Gastgeber Ivica spricht gut Deutsch, ist sehr nett, immer erreichbar und kümmert sich sofort um Probleme. Auf Wunsch grillt er auch für die Gäste. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, ebenso wie der Pool, der wirklich schön groß und tief ist. Außerdem bietet es sich an auf dem Balkon zu frühstücken, da dort morgens noch keine Sonne ist. Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr nah an einem kleinen Strand, wir waren allerdings hauptsächlich an einem größeren Strand, der ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen war. Dort konnte man super schnorcheln oder einfach nur schwimmen. Als einzigen Kritikpunkt würden wir anmerken, dass das Wlan eher unzuverlässig funktionierte, was im Nachhinein allerdings wirklich nur ein winziger Punkt war. Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegend in Kroatien kommen sollten, würden wir sofort wieder diese Wohnung von Ivica buchen und können sie auch jedem anderen weiterempfehlen!

Volltreffer in Okrug (bei Trogir, Großraum Split)!

Die FeWo unseres Gastgebers Ivica in Okrug war ein absoluter Volltreffer. Blitzblank sauber, der Pool top in Schuss, ein schöner Strand in 15 Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar (gibt auch einen kleinen in nur 2 Minuten Entfernung). Für uns ganz wichtig, nach schlechten Vorerfahrungen in Kroatien: Steht "Nichtraucher" drauf, ist "Nichtraucher" drin. Um jedes kleine Problem (wie z.B. eine verkalkte Kaffeemaschine) hat sich unser Gastgeber sofort gekümmert. Geht nicht - gibt's nicht bei Ivica. Wir sind eigentlich keine "Wiederkehrer", da wir die Abwechslung lieben. Hier könnte es sein, dass wir in ein paar Jahren mal eine Ausnahme machen.

Super netter Host und wunderschöne Strände

Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt, Ivica kümmert sich sofort um alles und hat uns immer unterstützt, das erlebt man sehr selten! Ohne Auto ist die Wohnung fast zu weit außerhalb, das wäre der einzige Nachteil der zu nennen ist. Gerne wieder und sehr zu empfehlen!

Ein perfekter Familienurlaub. 2021.

In der Villa Knez waren wir 2 Familien: 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (10-13 Jahren) 2 Wochen lang. Die Villa Knez ist sehr schön und gepflegt mit zwei Ballkons und dem Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt. Es sind drei Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Jedes Zimmer verfügt ein eigenes Bad, für uns war es ein großer Vorteil. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr geräumig mit Fernseher. Sofa hat eine Schlaffunktion .In der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Als wir ankamen war alles tip top sauber. Der Pool ist eine sehr angenehme Abwechslung zum Meer groß und sauber. Liegeplätze sind genug. Extra Wörter für Gastgeber: Ivica Knez ist immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit gewesen. Er hat versucht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Spricht deutsch. Unser Sohn wollte unbedingt Olympia schauen. Fernseher hat nicht richtig funktioniert Ivica hat Fernsehertechnicker geholt und dann letztendlich Fernseher ausgetauscht. Er hat für Kinder Termin für Coronatest bei einer Ärztin (Spricht auch deutsch) organisiert. Was das Meer angeht waren begeistert. Ist nicht weit entfernt 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein kleiner Strand. Wenn man weiter läuft findet man andere schöne Strände und Möglichkeiten zum Baden. Das Wasser ist glasklar fürs Schwimmen ist optimal gab's keine großen Wellen. Wetter war top. Die Abende waren sehr angenehm nicht zu warm. Es gibt's Möglichkeiten ein Boot zu mieten,eine Tauchstation, eine Bar am Strand wo man auch Essen holen kann .Viele Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie in der Stadt auch außerhalb. Wir sind immer über die Brücke gefahren zum einkaufen. Kaufland und Lidl. Im Kaufland kann man auch Geld wechseln. Alle Infos kann man auch bei Ivica holen. Zusammenfassung: Es war ein perfekter Familienurlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Und herzlichen Dank an Ivica

Croatian Vacation in Beautiful Destination

The apartment we stayed had wonderful views of the beautiful cove beach and hillside houses and had a nice swimming pool. It was very clean. The owner Ivica and his daughter Andreu went out of their way to make our stay as relaxed and stress free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them from collecting us from airport to making beautiful meat and cheese platter when we arrived. After a great day out island hopping on speedboat Ivica made us wonderful meal which we enjoyed and had a lovely evening chatting to him and his friends. Ivica took extra care to make sure COVID safety guidelines were followed. We have been to many places in Croatia and this was our favourite place. We hope to return as soon as possible.

Excellent place and host!

We stayed in Ivica's property for 4 days and had a wonderful time. Ivica is really great host, he prepared us dinner one night and we were hanging around together on the patio. Also whatever was needed, Ivica was there for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with family and who looks for laid back atmosphere and proper vacation. Filip

super schönes Ferienhaus, sehr netter Vermieter, großer Pool, Parkplätze vorhanden

Wir hatten 2 sehr schöne Wochen in Okrug. Wir waren mit 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene+2 Kinder, 10+11Jahre ) in der großen Dachwohnung. Da zu jedem Doppelzimmer je auch ein eigenes Bad mit WC vorhanden war, ist die Wohnung auf jeden Fall groß genug für mind. 6 Personen. Auch auf dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer wäre noch Platz für weitere Schlafgäste gewesen. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. Da es in der näheren Umgebung sehr viele schöne Restaurants gibt, waren wir jeden Abend Essen in einen der Restaurants. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann natürlich alles auch ohne Auto erreichen (Strand, Tauchstation, Bootsverleih, Supermarkt, Obststände, Post, Arzt, Apotheke, Restaurants). Wir haben es getestet, um nicht zu faul zu sein im Urlaub. Von der Insel aus erreicht man über eine der 2 Brücken sehr schnell das Festland, mit der schönen Stadt Trogir. Uns hat der Urlaub sehr gut gefallen und wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an Ivica.

Villa Knez 16th To 24th August 2019

We had a fabulous holiday in Villa Knez. From the start of the booking process and into the holiday, Ivica was a fantastic and communicative host. The apartment and facilities were great for our family of 6, in an ideal location. Lovely swimming pool which all of us loved, ideal for kids. We didn’t hire a car, but we managed to get around fine, it is however quite a trek to the shops & a good 10/15 minute walk to some restaurants. The nearby beaches are lovely. Amazing holiday in Villa Knez, thank you Ivica.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de quelques jours dans l'appartement qui est très spacieux, parfaitement propre et qui offre une belle vue sur la presqu'île de Ciovo. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bains, très pratique quand on est plusieurs familles comme nous. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine commune et nous avons passé d'agréables soirées dans l'espace commun extérieur doté d'un barbecue que nous avons pu utiliser. Il y a une petite plage à 3 min à pieds mais nous sommes allés à celles situées de l'autre côté de la presqu'île à une dizaine de minutes en voiture. Merci à Ivica et sa fille pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité et notamment pour le verre de bienvenue!

Fantastic host- great property!

This property is lovely. We really can’t praise Ivica enough for the service he provided. The property is as advertised, there are no hidden surprises. The communication from Ivica and his daughter Andrea (who speaks English) was really helpful throughout the booking process. He picked us up from the airport and as we arrived late, he made sure we had some cold drinks and some food. This set the tone for how thoughtful he continued to be throughout our two week stay. He helped us to hire a car and arranged for it to be dropped at the property and also with booking local trips etc. It is also worth mentioning that Ivica has a lovely eating area downstairs from the main apartment and he provided a wonderful meal for us which we booked with him the night before. Ivica also speaks German it for us we had to rely on a lot of google translate and sign language! We had a wonderful two weeks in Croatia-Okrug Gornji. There is a little beach literally 200 yards from the property with a beach bar which serves food and amazing pizza which you can also take away. The pool at the property was ideal for our two kids and we shared this with the one bedroom apartment residents. Plenty of room for all though and we tended to be there at different times so it was no problem. The area itself is absolutely beautiful. The view from the balcony is amazing. The photos don’t even do it all justice. You could probably benefit from hiring a car to get around although it isn’t vital. They do boat trips from the local beach. And there are lots of water sports activities available there too. Overall, we loved our trip. Ivica and his wonderful hospitality contributed greatly to this. It can be daunting booking a property online not knowing much about it but this property is all it claims to be and a lot more. Before our car arrived, he took us to the local supermarket to do shopping. Nothing is too much bother for Ivica. If you don’t fancy hiring a car, you can get around on foot. Copacabana beach with access to Trogir by taxi boat is only 1km away however be prepared for at least one steep hill. Trogir is very accessible and is the most amazing place. A vast choice of bars and restaurants and some lovely shops and market stalls to get some shopping done. Ivica deserves 10/10 as a host. From arrival to departure, he looked after us well. Great area, fantastic property. Sleeps 6 very comfortably.

Fabulous

Lovely place , easy to travel to Spit and Trogir .Ivica was a fabulous host . The apartment was beautiful and the balcony had a lovely view of the village and beach . We ate at the house and the food and wine was excellent . All in all an very enjoyable experience. Had loads of fun Dancing . Thank you so so much . Elvis has left the Building

Great place in a perfect location!

Loved Trogir and I would highly recommend staying at Ivicas House. 1 recommendation, make sure you have a fan at night and ask Ivica for it since we didnt ask until the end and it gets hot during the night. Nonetheless, Ivica was really accommodating,more than willing to help and plan ideas and was always available. Looking forward to coming back again.

Brilliant Holiday

We loved our holiday. The owners are so kind, helpful, thoughtful and friendly. The property is a two minute walk from the beach but it also has it's own small pool which we loved playing in, beds are super comfy too. There is so much to do in the area that we ran out of time so definitely hope to go back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
