“Peaceful and quiet. Use of private onsen. Not too far from the train station or close shops. Houses are more in the traditional sense which is great. Just have to walk uphill a little bit to reach the accommodation. Fine if a youngster or fit enough. Got a lift to the station when checking out as well. How good? Early June for 2 nights for 2 of us. Reasonable price for the experience.”

“Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel provided a free shuttle service to and from the property, which made getting around very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the mountains that made the stay even more special. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we’d happily stay here again.”

“Nikko è uno dei posti più turistici del Giappone, e i locali, pur nella loro infinita cortesia, vi spremeranno il più possibile. È la prima volta in vita mia (e io viaggio davvero molto) che mi è stato chiesto di pagare (500 yen, circa 4 euro al cambio di oggi) per lasciare i bagagli nell'albergo dove ho soggiornato (e non a poco prezzo). Per il resto, i templi di Nikko sono mozza fiato e l'esperienza in un ryokan è davvero unica.”

“It was a fantastic experience to be able to stay in a traditional home for a few nights. Yoshiko made our stay so comfortable and provided advice on sightseeing, rides to and from the station, gave us snacks and breakfast food and did our laundry. What a treasure. We hope to go back!”
