Percorri una tortuosa e isolata strada di montagna nel cuore del Catskill State Park e scopri il potere curativo di Ravenscliff, un bellissimo rifugio Zen come immerso in oltre 22 acri di foresta profonda. Questa splendida casa di tronchi di fronte a due piani offre finestre dal soffitto al pavimento, un soggiorno incavato con soffitti alti 30 piedi, grandi travi in legno e un maestoso camino in pietra. Pavimenti in legno, pietra calcarea e ardesia.

Le splendide viste anteriore e posteriore presentano cime montuose e affioramenti rocciosi. Quattro camere da letto uniche includono due camere matrimoniali e 3 bagni e mezzo. Tutti sono progettati con gusto per deliziare i sensi e lenire l'anima. Può ospitare comodamente undici persone. La grande cucina aperta di design / gourmet con ripiani in granito nero ha dispositivi all'avanguardia ed elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile. Ampio soppalco, ufficio, due box auto e tre ponti esterni completano la casa di 3900 piedi quadrati.


Goditi il ricco patrimonio del fiume Hudson e scopri le cascate nascoste e l'abbondante fauna selvatica che si trova nella zona circostante. Città pittoresche come Stone Ridge, Woodstock, High Falls [fondata nel 1600] e Rhinebeck che offrono negozi e ottimi ristoranti sono a pochi minuti di distanza.

Se ami l'arte e la musica, prenota una sera al Bearsville Theatre o partecipa a una Midnight Ramble nel complesso privato del compianto, grande e leggendario vincitore dei Grammy Levon Helm [batterista con la "Band"] in uno degli intimi ma ancora sessioni di sabato sera a dondolo a Woodstock. Escursionismo, pesca, sci, snowboard, tubi, canottaggio disponibili. Wonderful stay

Big, clean, beautiful and well appointed/stocked home. Host was wonderful. One of our guests left something after we left (all of us had long drives) and owner helped get it back to us!

Too Good To Review :)

When a house is rarely soooo perfect, better than the photos and review I hesitate to review because I want to keep it a "best secret"....but Kathy is such a wonderful host and has a pristine and cozy elegant home that I just had to write this for others who would appreciate art, beauty, graciousness and care in a home that they will rent. One can see a lifetime of collection of textiles and other objects of art all around the house, the kitchen is perfectly stocked, laundry room was large and easy, bedrooms are large, have cozy beds and sheets...and the bathrooms are pristine and beautiful. Kathy is a perfect host, kind and communicative.

Wonderful Stay

Ravenscliff was such a great place for our family vacation, we cannot wait to book again! The kids were so happy to explore the lush nature on the property and it was such a sweet surprise to wake up to deer in the morning! This cabin felt like a home away from home. It was clean, decorated beautifully, spacious with state of the art appliances, and we loved the location. It’s a perfect place for a family reunion, and for a holiday getaway. We look forward to our next trip!

Cabin from Heaven

What an amazing place to stay! We had the best time in this spiritual oasis tucked in the woods. The rooms were so cozy and provided us will everything we needed. The bathrooms were spacious (especially the one with the jacuzzi). The living room was inviting with its beautiful fireplace and we even indulge in an outdoor bonfire with s’mores! We have found our special place to come every year for our annual trip. Thanks again for such a great getaway Ravenscliff!

Gorgeous Property!

Our VRBO fell through last minute. Kathy went above and beyond to help us get rebooked here. How fortunate for us to end up in this beautiful home! Our adult children and spouses each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The home was immaculate. We were busy with a family reunion nearby, and our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here! We would gladly return!

Wow!

Ravenscliffe is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do justice! Open floor plan with chefs kitchen. Huge master suite with a spa like master bath. Had plans to go to hunter mountain and stayed home instead to enjoy the house more. Kathy is so kind and answered right away every time I reached out to her. Thank you Kathy!!

Simply Wonderful...

Beautiful home and very well appointed and curated. Ravensclaw is at the higher end of rentals, yet very reasonably priced. You do not need to bring anything… except your stress (which will quickly fade away...). We look forward to staying here again very soon.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was a wonderful retreat from the city! It fit a rather large group us very comfortably and was so close to so many wonderful day hikes and fun towns. I would highly recommend this place and all of us who stayed here are eager to get back here again!

Beautiful comfortable spacious

Amazing every little detail this house is fantastic! the beds the sheets the furniture the exotic decorations so spacious and comfortable. We stayed for a Suny New Paltz graduation and it was about 30 mins from the school. 11 of us all plenty of room. Can’t beat the scenic property.

Family Christmas trip

This will be my sons first Christmas and I was looking for the perfect weekend get away to gather the family. This house was perfect! We had a total of 10 guest from adults to infants and there was plenty of room to add more guest if needed. Very well maintained and extremely clean!! The host was also great with communication and made everything as smooth as can be with step by step instructions on everything I needed to know for our stay! Wonderful place to gather for a wedding

Ravenscliff was perfect for my family use when we got together to celebrate my son's wedding. The house is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed and equipped. Great space for family wedding weekend

We attended a country wedding in beautiful Ulster county and rented Ravens Cliff to accommodate our family rather than renting 4 rooms at a hotel. The house is excellent - charming, nice finishes and very spacious - tucked away in a forested setting. It was great for the family before and after the wedding. Would highly recommend it!!

Peaceful Getaway

We rented the property for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and the fact that we were all vaccinated and could be together again. The house and property exceeded our expectations. We loved sitting by the fire together and all that the trails, breweries, and towns in the area had to offer. I would highly recommend.

Great Girls Weekend Getaway

This property was the perfect setting for a group of 8, plenty of space to sleep comfortably. The house is beautiful, spacious log cabin retreat with great seating areas to eat, hang and cook. Check in and check out process was seamless. Would definitely come back here again.

Much Needed Get Away

We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to get away. However, we all felt that the house could have been cleaner. The lighting in the house was extremely dim. The outside grill was below standard. And the indoor fireplace needed to be cleaned out prior to our using it.

Clean, Beautiful Cabin With Attentive Owner

The property is perfect for a quiet getaway with a large family or friend group of 6-8 people. The house is immaculately clean and has ample sleeping accommodations. The owner was readily available via telephone and responded promptly to all questions. Highly recommend and will likely book again in the future.

Amazing!

Words can't describe how perfect this little slice of heaven is. I travelled with two other couples for a much needed getaway. Each couple had their own bathroom. The space is so tranquil - we set up a yoga area in the upstairs loft - it was perfect. We barely left the property instead preferring to cook in the amazing kitchen and sit my the firepit in the evenings. Kathy was wonderful. Highly recommend. You won't find a better spot!
