Family Gathering

Stayed their for 2 nights. A perfect spot for a larger family gathering. Very quick cul-de-sac, lots of space for small groups to gather/mingle. We cooked in, so kitchen was great. Bathroom and bedrooms very clean. Able to use the grill and outdoor deck. This place was great!

Great house with some issues

The house was large and perfect for our family in town for a wedding. It was clean with lots of space for the family to hang out and play games. However, there were some issues.1. One of the bedrooms was so cold that it was nearly impossible to be used for sleeping. My son-in-law and husband were able to get the furnace working and then the room was very, very warm. The second night the furnace didn't work at all and with outside temps near zero, my husband and I had to use two duvets to keep warm.2. The shower in the bathroom in the upstairs hallway did not have hot water. Again, it was unusable. We had other options in the house but with a large family getting ready to go places, it was very inconvenient. The other showers were better but still, hot water was limited.3. There was no snow shovel or salt for de-icing. The front steps are wooden with no hand rails. We had to purchase those on our own.4.We did not receive instructions on use of the wifi, check out info, etc. 5. The house is lofted with exposed areas from the bedrooms to the rest of the household. Family members on the lower level could hear every movement and conversation.

Not Remotely Deserving of a Top-Rating

Our stay was disappointing at best.If you care about uncovered windows,having 4 walls +ceiling for more than just 1 bdrm, & overall cleanliness,then this is not the place for you. Our group had 3 adults age 25-30, 2 age 70-85, & 2 age 50-60. COMMUNICATION: misleading ahead of the trip & bad the day we arrived.Zero warning that the street was blocked & torn up due to roadwork,to access the neighborhood you worked your way around 3 road closure fences. We couldn’t get into the house at the stated hour bc we had received no access code.The owner dodged my questions in advance of our trip around which bdrms were fully enclosed with 4 walls & a door. BEDROOMS: From the listing photos & info, I tried to map out in advance who would be staying in which bdrm bc I wanted to get my parents well situated. I reached out to the owner 2x,asking for more details about the bdrms, baths, & which had 4 walls & a door.He never answered that last part. Here’s what you find: Only 1 of the bdrms has 4 walls +door +ceiling; the rest had combinations of open ceilings, open walls/windows to the 1st flr common areas, & all except the basement beds receive gobs of moonlight & streetlight at night for sleeping,due to a large number of uncovered exterior windows. CLEANLINESS: This home is simply not clean; nasty old stained carpeting, plenty of dust, unclean MBR shower w/ swinging doors, actual dust bunnies, & crumbs left in view on top of the sofa from the previous renter. I was embarrassed.

Great Fall Kickoff Tradition!

Our family goes annually to Vala’s and now friends tradition too. Our kids are now all high schoolers, so wanted to bring more friends too so had to start getting bigger lodging. This home was perfect!! High schoolers camped out in cool basement and adults had other 2 floors! We only saw high schoolers to get drinks/food! Ha! Great use of space and even though 20-30 minutes from Vala’s, it was worth it for the house! Thank you!!

lots of light

The bedroom situation is interesting. They are all open to another room, aren't private and lack shades so light just pours in. If you have trouble sleeping if it's not dark it's difficult and I used a sleep mask. The bedrooms open to the living room so nobody can stay up watching TV unless that sound doesn't affect you. The rest of the house is well appointed and decorated nicely. It's just the sleep situation which may not bother some.

Family Trip

This house was fantastic for a family trip over a long weekend. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to main roads made it perfect. The house is a great size for multiple families with nice gathering spaces. We enjoyed it!

Bridal Shower

This was a very nice place to host a bridal shower. It accommodated 20 people for the shower and 8 who actually spent the night. The parking was a small problem, but were able to manage it.

It had everything we needed

It was nice! We had plenty of room. It had everything we needed. Little park in the back connected to the yard. With volleyball net. We were not there much and it rained pretty much the whole time

Omaha Family Visit

The home was beautiful and set in a private cul-de-sac. The neighbors are very friendly and neighborhood is video monitored, which helps you feel very safe. Rooms are very nice and open lofts upstairs for two of the rooms and the other room has two beds and an outside balcony. Two full bathrooms are located on the second floor, one of which is an en-suite. The first level has a room and a 2 piece bath next to it for guests. The living room is a step down with lots of windows and a nice size tv. The dining area is beautiful and overlooking a park and two patio decks. The kitchen has double ovens, gas stove top and granite countertops. Nice pantry, full size refrigerator and a washer and dryer. The basement has a bed, full bathroom with walk-in shower, sitting area and dining area with larger screen tv. I would recommend this to anyone who would like a nice and roomy home. Loved it and our Omaha family was very impressed. Host was very cordial and ready to help.

Lovely family gathering location

This is a beautiful house in a central location. The house has a flexible set up so you can accommodate multiple groups together. It has a large downstairs area for kids if needed and a large open dining living area for group gatherings. It is really lovely. We had to manage the limited parking spots but it worked out well. We had a group of family and friends stay here for my mom's celebration of life. It enabled us to all spend time together as we were grieving and healing together.
