“Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price”

“夢のようなロケーションです！5泊したのですが、最高の経験になりました。朝焼けから夕焼けまで、ため息が出るほど素晴らしい牧草地が続いている中の、素敵なキャビンでした。 快適に生活する全てが揃っています。設備だけでなく、ある程度の食材も揃えておいてくれているので、買い物に行く前にキッチンと冷蔵庫を確認することをお勧めします。本当に素晴らしい歓迎を受けました。 Rachealは素晴らしいオーナーで、返事も素早く色々とサポートしてくれました。 満月前後の滞在でしたので満天の星は見られませんでしたが、それでも天の川はよく見えて感動しました。 自然の中でゆったりと過ごすのに最適な場所です！”

“Excellent provision of bed ware, towels etc. for 6 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room for grandchildren's hide and seek. One games machine not working. Great location close to Redwoods and Luge.Excellent communication to and from Emma. One thing always bugs me about properties - a ragbag assortment of coat hangers! But that's the only niggle! ”

“We were disappointed to find the pool room was under maintenance so we could not use it, looking at other reviews seems like this has been the case for some time so not sure why it’s still advertised with it. Also advertised 7 rooms however we only had access to 6, all other doors and assuming 7th room was locked, so again not what we paid for. Place was quite dusty and smelt humid, did not seem as clean close up as it seems in photos. Overall we were quite disappointed. Hoping this review...

“We needed a house on this side of Rotorua for a mixed group of 3 adults and 3 teenagers. This mix of beds was perfect for us, saves sharing with a teenager!!!!Was very quiet with a fantastic outlook ”

“What a remarkable experience. The accommodations were great for a family of 8 and the setting was beautiful. The host is outstanding. Very attentive and communicative. She was available to assist with any issues. The facility has everything you would ever need. The kids loved the ping pong table and the kayak. The adults loved the scenery.
