“Had a wonderful cozy and relaxing time at The Red Barn. The upstairs was perfect for our two daughters to have to themselves. We enjoyed renting a pontoon while we were there and I highly recommend that from the owner as well!! It’s exactly as described and they were super easy to work with. It was a unique place and that added a lot of charm to the stay overall. I’d stay in a fun and different place like this a thousand times before a hotel or condo that’s always the same cookie cutter...

“We had a wonderful three-night stay at this cozy cabin in Hillman. It was the perfect distance from the Cities—close enough for an easy drive, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed. We spent our time relaxing, grilling, and even caught a couple of fish right off the dock. One evening by the fire was a highlight.We also ventured into Brainerd one afternoon for a delicious lunch at Chick N Rice (highly recommend!) and had a great time...

“Owner was very responsive when needed and answered the phone promptly. The house is beautiful and spacious, beds were comfortable and the lake was so nice. We rented a pontoon from the owner and spent the day on the water. The fish were biting too! This was just perfect for my family and friends to relax, catch up and spend good quality time together.”

“This was a very convenient lay out for our family's stay. The kids caught fish (mostly bass) off the dock, were able to swim, and they house was neat and orderly. We enjoyed our time in the front porch room, just watching the lake. Although we stayed in late July, the fans seemed efficient enough for us and not having A.C. wasn't an issue at all. Next time we hope to bring a boat to explore the restaurants on the lake! ”
