“This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds.
We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned.
The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Pilsley Inn. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality food and a great variety to start the day. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the setting is both charming and ideally located for visiting Chatsworth House.
Staying on the estate provided added benefits for access to Chatsworth, which enhanced the overall experience. What truly stood out, however, was the staff, especially Emma. They were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and always willing...
