Set within the Epping Forest District of Essex, this area provides lots to do and explore, including the steam railway which starts from Chipping Ongar, only 3 miles away, which winds through the beautiful Essex countryside. There are many historic houses and museums close by including The Royal Gunpowder Mills, Copped Hall, Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge, Epping Forest District Museum and National Speedway Museum.
