I selected the Oar’Asis cabin for our home base - perfect size, location and price. We were not disappointed - the cabin is absolutely adorable. Our hostess, Heidi, left the door open & lights on for our arrival, which was a bit late in the day. The clean, comfortable beds felt great after a day of traveling. “Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!”

This year was not a year for snow put the owners of the cabin were very helpful in guiding on activities for us to enjoy since snowmobiling was not an option. The cabin was clean and well decorated. “We stayed here for two nights. The place is definitely off the beaten path and we liked it. Just be aware that the unpaved road is a little rough this time of year. We met the owner Mike not long after checking in and he was a really nice guy. I might try to come back during deer hunting (bow) season.”

“We were in town to spend Easter weekend with our freshman MTU student, since he couldn't make the 9 hour trip home... the cabin was perfect; clean, plenty of room, and well stocked with household items. We were able to cook Easter dinner for a small group of MTU students, and we had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and cozy... we especially loved the wood stove, since I am always cold. We were so happy with it, we already booked one of the cabins for next Easter!”

Great location easy access to great fishing, hunting, ATV trails you name it, it is available! 30 minutes to Ironwood 40 minutes to The Porkies great place to call base camp and travel the area. “House was beautiful and full of little surprise amenities. My wife and I traveled up to the UP for a few days of hiking with our toddler. The location of the house is fairly close to the trailheads, and right on the lake. Jay was extremely easy to communicate with inside the Vrbo app, and we had no issues finding the house or anything in the property. Check-in/out was seemless with very little for us to truly take care of compared to other Vrbos we have stayed at. Jay also gave us some hiking...
