The property
You’ll be charmed by its “country house” decor, the 1950s-style design of its kitchen, the 1930s-inspired upstairs bathroom, and its gym decorated with a Cannes Film Festival theme.

First floor:
- Air-conditioned gym with a mini Bluetooth stereo system, equipped with 1 weight bench, 2 stationary bikes, 1 elliptical trainer, 4 exercise and yoga mats, and dumbbells).
- Laundry room with washer and dryer.
- Shower room/restroom
- Private room reserved for the concierge service

Upstairs:
- Living/dining room with a lovely terrace.
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Bathroom and separate toilet.
- 3 bedrooms (2 with queen-size beds and 1 with 2 90x190 beds)

Lou Bastidoun is the perfect place to recharge, lulled by the songs of birds and cicadas. Located between the sea (a 20-minute drive) and the mountains (a 30-minute drive), you can go hiking in the morning and visit the charming hilltop villages of Gourdon, St. Cézaire, Cabris, or Tourrettes-sur-Loup in the morning, and then go for a swim in the Mediterranean in the afternoon! Can’t wait for vacation!

📌Guests are not permitted to invite visitors during their stay: ONLY PEOPLE WHOSE IDENTITIES WERE REGISTERED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING WILL BE ALLOWED on the property—villa & pool—for reasons of safety, comfort, and insurance.
This means that a change in guests during the stay is not permitted, even if the 5-person capacity is not exceeded.

📌Housekeeping is included; however, if the rules are not followed—such as trash not emptied upon departure or dirty dishes left at checkout—and if there is any damage (for example, linens with permanent sunscreen stains or chocolate stains on the walls), additional fees may be charged through Airbnb.

📌The reservation for our villa does not include a concierge service, which means you will be on your own during your stay—particularly regarding transportation, grocery shopping, organizing your outings, or a snack upon arrival. Please note that cold drinks will be available upon your arrival (along with spaghetti and tomato sauce, just in case).
If you arrive late in the evening, you’ll need to buy a snack at the airport, as supermarkets in the area close at 8:00 p.m.

📌A welcome booklet is provided for your use; I encourage you to read it as soon as you arrive: it contains a wealth of information about the villa and tourist information about the surrounding area. We invite you to visit the Tourist Office for any additional information (bus schedules, bus routes, etc.). It is located in the heart of the village of Valbonne—14 rue de la Fontaine, 06560 Valbonne

📌You are not allowed to move the furniture in the house or to move the patio furniture onto the grass (due to the automatic sprinklers and because it causes the lawn to turn yellow)

📌Do not lie down with sunscreen on your body on or in the beds, on the sofa, or in the armchairs in the living room, inside the villa

📌Do not leave the air conditioners running with doors and/or windows open (this could trip the circuit breaker)
